Feeling unstable and on shakey ground

Just ticked off because I'm starting to recognize old patterns with certain things, and I came here with pretty much nothing.

Now I don't have a home or a family to go back to if this doesn't work out, and I'm trying to set stuff up here as single mom, but I don't like it that much. I don't really feel comfortable and I'm thinking its a limited time before I end up in a shelter.

I'm supposed to get on my feet and I'm starting to wonder if the person supposed to watch my kids while I do that has the patience for it.

I'm really stressed.

I need a really fast miracle and it has to be within three weeks.

So please pray for a miracle

It's not like God doesn't know your situation Fluffy.
I've come to realise that I can put my petitions to God....ie, the things I think I need but am learning that God has other objectives. I am also learning to trust so that whatever transpires is ok even though it doesn't appear ok with me.

I think of those Christians fed to the lions or various other accounts I've read about where these pilgrims have it rough.

I have a spare little cottage/cabin which would be useful for some people struggling and would be happy to come to an agreeable arrangement for folk to live in but it hasn't happened. In the same way I imagine there are others out there in a similar situation to mine.....and God knows.

What I'm saying my dear is, God has ways of turning what seems impossible to us into just what is required at the time.
In silence and solitude, trust it in spite of the thrashing going on around you....you are his precious Princess.

Praying Fluffy. This is just a stepping stone. Trust in Him, don't fear or fret, just pray, believe and thank Him and, He'll do the rest. Open doors for you that you can't see, keep you in His protection.
These things are easy for me to say yet, it still applies sister. I am praying for you.

Sister, be ye comforted in the LORD and His everlasting arms. Take His Word and make It as if meant for only yourself. I'm honored to pray for you. I was in a situation somewhat similar to that which you describe many years ago. And shortly afterward, I was in a better situation than that for which I could have ever hoped. I've seen this happen so many times that I don't pray the same way I used to.

Nothing is so helpless, and yet so powerful, as the sinner who casts himself wholly upon the mercy and merits of the crucified and risen Saviour. At this sight, the devils tremble.

We often see this little segment of the Sermon On The Mount as a rebuke of sorts because of the "O ye of little faith" remark in the middle of it. But I've come to see it as a promise. There is so much difficulty and nonsense going on in my household and extended family right now that I don't even waste my time telling the LORD about most of it anymore.

Take this as a promise:

Mat 6:25-34 KJV 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? It seems you have to show someone progress very soon FYD. Show yourself fit first to our Lord in patience and faithfulness. Humble yourself and rely on him and do that with prayers of thanksgiving and you will succeed and be with your children with confidence. You seem not a quitter. I expect that you will not quit on yourself now as the Father and his Son are working overtime for you. Trust it and own it. You are never alone.

I pray you will find strength and a sense of maturity fit for the task that lies ahead of you.

May the Lord bless your path today and the road you have to travel on tomorrow. Amen

Ah, Fluffy, God does use the method of going around the mountain many times to get us to face issues and problems in our life that are disruptive to our relationship with Him.

I read a good book about how we revert back to safe relational actors when we come together with Family, particularly parents. We revert to those characteristic that keep us feeling safe. The book also deals with forgiveness of our parents for their "best efforts" that they adopted in raising us as children. Sadly, we too adopt the same practices in bringing up our own children and that also causes us to question our abilities when we see the same sort of problems developing in our children that we also experienced.

Paul, a number of times, tells us to renew our minds and to embrace the newly learned characteristics of what God requires of us.

We all need to step out to become more like Christ, and no one is a failure in God's eyes, because of our past short comings, if we are fully dependant in God and His help that is special created just for us.

When others are putting us down, we need to go before God and lay out our needs before Him and to seek His face so as to see His Hand working on our behalf so that we can praise God for what He is doing in our lives.

Now if we humble ourselves and confess our turning away from God and acting God like to fix our problems in our own strength, then He will forgive us our trespass as well as all of the manifested sins that we committed while we were turned away from Him.

However, the consequences of the manifested sins we still have to face and deal with in a manner that will bring reconciliation between us the the people whom we have offended. We also have to forgive those who have offended us by their actions against us.

May the Lord give you patience as you work through all of these things that need to be put right from the past so that you can move on into the future that God has for you to fulfil.

May the Lord also meet your needs and provide solutions that will even surprise you as He takes care of all of your needs.

May you be continually drawn into God's Loving embrace which is special just for you so that you can feel safe in His arms.

I am always reluctant to pray for someone what i might think are their special needs. What I might be getting may very well be contrary to what God wants to do in their life.

That was why in my previous post I suggested to you that you lay out your needs before God, to seek His face, and to then watch see His Hand working on our behalf so that we can praise God for what He is doing in our lives.

I am half way around the world on the other side of the planet and have little understanding of your circumstances in your situation.

What I know is safe for me to pray, is that God is continuing to draw you into His Loving arms, that you will allow God to draw you into His loving embrace, that you will trust God to deal with all of your issues and needs and allow Him to provide the solutions and needs that you need within the circumstances that you are presently in.

I do this to protect me from acting God like within your circumstances and becoming a hinderance to God and you as you continue to journey with God in your life.

PS: - I have had to ask people, in the past, to stop praying for me and my circumstances who lived far away from me, because their good intentions in their prayers were getting in the way of God's solution for me and my family.

What I have had to instruct them to do was to only pray for me if God had put it on their heart to do so, and then only what God had instructed them to pray.
