I'm starting a low carb diet today to see if I can loose some of my belly fat.
That means no rice, no pasta, no potatoes, no bread, not even fruit.
It's a daunting prospect as I tend to eat all those things. The only good thing is that I can eat more meat but I have to now eat stuff like broccoli and cauliflower which I don't really like.
It's also going to be more expensive cos bread, rice, potatoes and pasta are cheap compared to the low carb alternatives.
Work lunch was my biggest concern. I used to take a roll with cheese, ham, tomato and boiled egg. Now I'm replacing the roll with low carb pita bread wraps. Sometimes I would take a pack of instant noodles, but I can't do that anymore. Maybe I can take a tuna salad with canned tuna
For dinner I'll have a bigger portion of meat with broccoli and/or cauliflower or something else, I'm still searching for.
Have you been on a low carb diet, or any other diet? How did it go?
I'm open to suggestions if anyone has been on a low carb diet
