We are of and from God. Everything that exists is that.Ok....we have the numerous meanings of the word "mortal".
Now please share your thoughts from the suggestions from Strongs of what your opinion is of being "mortal"
Again, from my (edited**) post 216:
**So then, is it that God (who cannot die) shall be in those people? If not, then how is it that THEY "cannot die"?
We cannot die because all that we are is of and from God.
When the Holy Spirit, which is God,indwells us,it means the source within our beingness in flesh makes itself known by changing us from when we were dead, i.e unaware of this. In other words, awakens our consciousness to the fact we are more than carnal thought and desires of the flesh. And that's how we are sealed for the last day.
Once that presence is known by us,felt to be vibrantly alive and guiding us from within, on a spiritual journey and focus rather than what was the former self-ish carnal identity,we are forever his because we know God has always been there. In all that is his creation.
And when we die,the flesh, that came from his creation, returns to the dust from which it sprang. And the soul returns to God.
Everything that is,is creation by God and from God.
