I thought it would be easier to start a new thread. lol
To explain to everyone else and anyone who wants to join in:
After Jesus rose from the dead, the angel told Mary that Jesus was on his way to Galilee. She caught up with him and he told her to tell the disciples to meet with him in Galilee. He met with his disciples later that night.
We're trying to figure out the distance from the tomb to Galilee to see how he got there so fast.
I believe his family was in Nazareth, which I THINK would be considered lower Galilee today.
Edit: all of my miles below are inaccurate, ignore.
Here are the three possible tomb locations and the distances according to the internet:
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
120 miles away
The Garden Tomb
The Garden Tomb is a shorter walk, about 80 miles.
Talpiot Tomb
This one seems the most likely to me, although they say it is debunked, but I cannot for the life of me get the computer to load fast enough to find out.
I am still looking into this but I apparently need to clean up the computer first so I can get Google Maps to load.
