I recently moved back into town,
I'm not digging it but a friend of mine needed some help.
I now live near the end of a long, flat, straight, and most importantly LEVEL road, with several stop lights roughly one mile distant from each other. On a clear night, I can stand in the middle of the street and look down the road towards town. I have pretty good eyes for an old guy. Even so, at the very most I might be able to make out the third traffic light almost three miles away, but only the light itself, everything below has faded out of view. Its called perspective bro.

You think that Argentina should have a view of the pole star, and that makes sense, when you consider only two variables, distance and line of site. But there are for more variables at play than just those two.

Globers are always telling us about all this evidence they have and asking where is our proof. What we are saying is, you have no proof either, no more than we do. You do have a tremendous amount of evidence to support your claims, but where does that evidence come from? Can it be trusted? How was it acquired? You see, we could and would go to Antarctica and find out for ourselves, but that's a forbidden activity. We would love to get in a rocket and find out for ourselves, but only governments or the very such and powerful will ever have that opportunity. All we have, are our five senses and the word of God. You claim to have evidence, but the evidence you claim to have, cannot be tested, not by us, we aren't part of the club. Furthermore, and please don't overlook this point, your own evidence does not in anyway come from your own personal observations, but rather, completely contradicts them entirely.

If no one had told you that you lived on a spinning ball or that the sun was 90 million miles away, until long after you were allowed to live long to form your own conclusions based on your own observations to the nature of your reality, and then suddenly one day came up and told you all the same stuff that you yourself now accept as gospel truth, you would have laughed in their face, just as you are laughing in mine.

IT IS FINISHED, to me, has always meant more than the usual " I did what I was supposed to do".
It could mean this.
It could mean that there is nothing more to do to help Israel since God has tried everything.
I think this would be in line with what you're stating.

Jesus said "It is finished" as confirmation, that what was even finished "from before the foundation of the world", was manifest as a revelation of God--as revealed, fulfilled, and thus true before many witnesses. Therefore He also said, "Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation." Because "all these things" were in fact finished "before the foundation of the world." Revealing that the events of all time--and time itself--is an illusion created by His revelations given, "here a little, there a little" to save us from certain death by the sudden impact of the fall. But man has been unable to go deep into the ocean.

I'm not in the habit of talking about what God is doing through me for the benefit of others, rarely, and only if its to make some larger point will I do so.

I probably shouldn't have said what I did say, but again I was trying to make a point. And no where I did I speak in the first person, which clearly escaped your notice.

What has science truly contributed to humanity? We now have the ability to rip a child from his mothers woman and somehow preserve her life, though not her sanity. We can replace the body parts of those who live with satanic delusions, but not heal their mind of those same delusions. We have GMO food that poisons us, and doctors that prescribe even more poison as a cure, while millions die from malnutrition and starvation or obesity and sedentary lifestyles We are only a few presses of the button away from total annihilation as a species, we claim to have visited the moon, but somehow 50 years later we have lost the technology necessary to return. We have motor cars and TV sets and microwave ovens and smart phones, but have lost the ability to sit together at a communal table and have profound and meaningful conversation with family and friends. We have the world wide web and countless social media platforms to keep us all connected, and are without a doubt the loneliest generation that ever existed. I could go on, but I won't. What has technology given us? Better yet what has it taken away, and at what cost? Men believe that nothing caused everything, that our ancestors swung through trees, that life has no purpose but to acquire more stuff, more information, and less wisdom, that men can be women, that women can be men, that God is a myth, and the devil is your friend.

Yet, here you are, using a computer. Science has contributed everything. Without it you'd be up in a tree to avoid predation eating food with the very hands you just used as toilet paper. You'd be lucky to reach puberty. Before modern medicine you'd have a ton of kids and get a handful to adulthood.

Insofar as you claiming we lost the ability to go to the moon, implying it was fake, there have been missions to the moon. It is very expensive and dangerous. I guess expensive jets flown by people didn't exist because drones are increasingly used for low cost and no risk. As far as family time, that is up to the family, not the fault of science.
