You have good faith in God. I struggle with trust in God. Thanks for your encouragement. I pray all those effected by the flood are cared for and delivered from catastrophe.
The devil is very busy trying to load us all down with fear and troubles, but the one thing God stressed to his people was not to be afraid. If we have full trust in Jehovah, he knows exactly what we are feeling and he wants to bring relief to all who are suffering.....but he has foretold all that we are experiencing at present as these end times draw to a close. We are not to fear any of it because the devil will do as much damage as he is permitted, to show us where relying on flawed humans to rule and protect us successfully has utterly failed. We cannot trust man, who is under the devil’s influence, but we can put our full trust in God. (Isaiah 41:10; Proverbs 1:33; Psalm 112:7)
This is why Jesus taught us to be no part of this world. (John 17:16; John 18:36) This can bring the world’s hatred, because we stand out as different, not involved in the world’s political issues.....we really don’t care what the world thinks. (John 15:18-21) We have to care more about what God thinks of us.
Humans can’t solve the problems, because humans ARE the problem. Separating ourselves from that world, we can switch off the fear mongering mainstream media and concentrate on what the world will be like after satan and his hordes are dealt with, and God can bring the world back to the way he intended it to be at the start. (Isaiah 55:11) Both humans and angels had to experience what living without God was like, first hand......why? Because telling them didn’t quite get the message across....he had to show us and not interfere with our choices....that way all of us are judged on what is in our hearts.
Those who truly know the God they worship can see beyond the present woes to a new world where everyone is part of God’s spiritual family (2 Peter 3:13).....there will be no rebels, no dissenters, no independent thinkers, no one who wants to take God’s place in telling us how to live.
Not only that, but the awful memories of this world’s tragedies will also never come back to haunt us. (Isaiah 65: 17)
We all know in our heart of hearts that this life is not the one we were meant to live, but if we read Revelation 21:2-4 we will see what God has in store for those of us who seek to know him and his precious son. (John 17:3)
Blessings to you devin....I can see that you are a very caring person.
