I went to a wildlife park with free ranging kangaroos that you could feed.

One of the smaller ones wanted to play fight with me, it was only about 4ft tall. It was fun but I wouldn't play fight with a bigger one.

Their hands have razor sharp claws that either scratch you or hook onto your cloths. And those kicks can do some damage if they connect in the wrong place like the groin or knee.

When they seriously fight for real, they kick with the claw on their feet, it can easily disembowel a person.

I'm watching "I was Prey" on Tubi... working through the episodes here and there.

A man was visiting his mom's home. He and his two little daughters went for a hike and suddenly came across a growling, huge kangaroo on the path. He pushed his daughters behind him and the kangaroo attacked him badly. He was in the hospital.

When he went back to his mom's home, he saw the same kangaroo. But he doesn't hold anything against it. I guess if a kangaroo is dangerous the officials still don't kill it?

I'm not sure what the law is about that.
I know in some areas you are allowed to shoot them because of over population.
Their not bad to eat either.

@Debp

But Australia's land mammals aren't as dangerous as North America's. We have no wild cats or bears. I've never heard of a kangaroo killing anyone. The biggest danger is our snakes and spiders.

The dingo is our most dangerous land mammal. It's a medium sized wild dog.
In the 80s a dingo snatched a baby. The mother was found guilty of killing the baby but 3.5 years later was released from prison after they found new evidence proving it was a dingo that killed the baby.

A guy was out camping and went to go to the toilet blocks in the middle of the night some distance away. He was attacked by a pack of dingo's and had to climb a tree and wait until sunrise before the dingo's went on their way
