Kennedy wins against "Freedom from Religion"
I read the arguments before the court in this case. The transcript is available at Liberty. The lawyers representing Freedom from Religion really punted in this case. They were unprepared and outgunned the entire way. Unfortunately, three Justices do not believe the Constitution protects religious freedom in any way. As I stated in another post on another board. Had these three Justices been on the court pertaining to slavery, slaves would be still owned today.
Maybe they would have agreed had the coach rolled out a prayer rug and faced east. In that regard, one religion above another. I want all religions recognized in the US to be treated the exact same.
