Jesus made the comparison between the days before the flood in Noah's time, and the days before His coming, when He judges of the wicked on the earth.

No one believed anything was going to happen to them then, and people won't believe it when He comes. The sudden destruction at the end of this age will be just as unexpected as the flood was then.

Peter wrote about the scoffers who will scoff at the idea of Jesus coming, saying, "Everything's going on just like it has from the beginning!", as if God hadn't judged the world in the past, and won't in the future. But God did judge, the flood shows us that, we mustn't ignore it.

And He will judge the world, the Bible declares it, and we shouldn't ignore that either. We are instructed by James to live as those who will be judged according to the Law of Liberty. We who trust in Christ have the ultimate liberty to do those things that please Him, and we will all stand before Him to be personally judged by Him.

We do well to live our lives with this in mind.

May God's grace be upon you!

Much love!

Luke 17:26-30
[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
[29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

can you say me it

The Flood was a massive worldwide event seen by millions of people, so Jesus was saying his second coming will be like that, seen by the whole world.

Deny the flood and His wrath on sin, deny the Lord Jesus and God. Jesus spoke of the flood of Noah.

Though most Christians often read and quote John 3:18, they don't fully understand it. The judgment of God was implemented in the day of Jesus' first appearance in mortal flesh.
[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus Himself IS NOW and has been the judgment of God between eternal death and Eternal Life. 1 John 5:12-13.

Therefore, God deals with His born again saints differently:
1 Cor. 11
[32] But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Ever since Pentecost, the separation of the sheep from the goats has been going on in every generation. The finalization, and fulfillment of it all, will be brought about in the day when "the mark of the beast" will be implemented upon the whole world.

In that day, the Age of God's Grace and His longsuffering towards the unsaved human race will have ENDED, and therefore He shall send Jesus to be revealed from Heaven, in the Glory of His Immortality, in flaming fire.
2 Peter 3:7-13, Luke 17:28-30.
