France to kick out Moroccan man for lighting cigarette from flame of war memorial

It's their tomb of an unknown soldier from WW1...war memorial.

Apparently he had other offences against him and this is another step to him being kicked out, it doesn't state what else he has done, but he was known by the police there.

Apparently disrespecting the war memorial was the final straw...the straw that broke the camel's back.

Yes, he surely must have known it would cause an issue, maybe it was a deliberate act. I read that there are issues between France and Algeria ( Morocco’s neighbour ) and they are saying this is being used politically at the moment. ( isn’t everything these days ! )
