And I am reading this garbage on a Christian Forum, written by a "Christian".

Unfortunately you are not reading what I have written at all.....you are seeing what you want to see in my words. It’s your comprehension that is the problem.

We are to help out anyone in need on a personal level, but “charity organisations” were not what Christ recommended. The “Good Samaritan” is an awesome parable because it depicts what kind of Christianity was to be demonstrated by all of us. The hero of the story was a hated Samaritan.....the Jews were the uncaring ones who would never have given assistance to a ‘man of the nations’, especially a Samaritan. The man had been stripped of his clothing which would have identified him as a Jew if he was one. But the Samaritan did not care what race or religion this man was, but saw a fellow human in need.....and at his own expense, cared for him.

Charities today are businesses, usually run by well paid CEO’s. That is not Christian. All Christians must be volunteers because no one should be paid to do the Lord’s work. Volunteers also donate funds to cover expenses, but not to pay wages.

What is happening across the pond in that remote country of Finland.
Where? Look at a map, you can see the UK keep going right, you get to Norway, Sweden and behind them is Finland, the Nordic countries.
There a Christian Member of Parlia ent has been dragged through the courts over posts she made about Christian marriage.
There appeals service has the right to appeal against decisions made by lower courts and that is what is happening.
The courts cleared her of hate crimes, but is back in court again thanks to the appeal system.

Do pray for her, write to your senator etc for them to intercede for her.

Please keep in mind that it isn’t always what you say, but how you say it. It’s possible to believe in traditional marriage—whatever that is supposed to mean—but also not provoke hostility towards LGBT people who are entitled to equal civic rights such as marriage.

This lady posted bible verses she was not being aggressive yet ended up in court.
What hhappen was actually persecution.
