'The fruit of the Spirit, is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.....''Each tree that bears not fruit will be hewn down''Labour not for that which perishes, but labour for that which leads unto life everlasting.'Do we have to labour for our fruits to grow? If so, how do we labour for the fruits to grow?

Faith is a fruit of the Spirit, we need the Spirit to have faith...it's just that simple. Without the Holy Spirits work of regeneration before faith we would never believe.
Article 3 Therefore all men are conceived in sin, and are by nature children of wrath, incapable of saving good, prone to evil, dead in sin, and in bondage thereto; and without the regenerating grace of the Holy Spirit, they are neither able nor willing to return to God, to reform the depravity of their nature, or to dispose themselves to reformation.Article 4 There remain, however, in man since the fall, the glimmerings of natural light [understanding], whereby he retains some knowledge of God, of natural things, and of the difference between good and evil, and shows some regard for virtue and for good outward behavior. But so far is this understanding of nature from being sufficient to bring him to a saving knowledge of God and to true conversion that he is incapable of using it aright even in things natural and civil. Nay further, this understanding, such as it is, man in various ways renders wholly polluted, and hinders in unrighteousness, by doing which he becomes inexcusable before God.Canons of Dort, The Corruption of Man, His Conversion to God, & the Manner Thereof

Simple. It's a labor of love. II Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
When you labor in the Word, and when the time comes you know it and share it, there's nothing that makes the Father happier because that is your love manifest for him.

Phi 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It's not simply in the act, it's because you want to do the act.
