Like you, I am gay (or "homosexual"), and while I've never been in a relationship such as the one you were in, I know what it's like to have that sort of attraction and love for someone who wants nothing to do with you. I also know how much harder it is when people are telling you that your love and attraction are sins.Take heart. I'll be praying for you. I know it's hard to do it now, but trust that God will bring you through this, and that one day you'll look back on this and smile.

Look many of us here must repent much more often than we would like to have to. It is very easy for a harmless thought of appreciation to turn into lust, but we must constantly turn to God and trust Him to protect us from ourselves. I am not a homosexual but I have fought with porn addiction as well as lusting after other woman other than my wife, I give it all to God and yes sometimes I fail and have to repent but God is faithful where I am faulty. I will keep you in my prayers as someone else who struggles.

Might be off topic but I remember some pastors telling me that homosexual/ gay people has a negative 'spirit' in them making them what they are. Maybe, I just don't get it why there are so many homo in the world... Does Science has an answer on this issue?

I have a relative who is gay and had the same problem with you...He fell in love with a guy who was also gay but he had children and wife...I expained to him that's a sin to separate him for his family...2 years after he married a girl and now they have 3 wonderful children...I do not know how it is to be gay but my life teached me from my relative's experiencethat it some cases can be win their life back...
