Well... the only reason I watch the National is to follow up on the covid measures in my country... I don't have a television... so I watch the National on my little Chrome book in the mornings when I first wake up. Sorry that displeases you so... LOL. I don't follow politics and I don't vote... however... sadly....with all the chaos going on in America these last months.... politics has been difficult to avoid... This has all been wonderful wip but you have stooped to a level that I will not engage... I watch about 15 minutes of news a day... and as I said.. it is to keep up with the covid mandates in Canada... I have NO desire to watch the news of any kind anywhere...as I really don't care what is happening around me... I live my life quietly and in peace.... however... I am guilty of having followed the election thread on these forums.... for what I thought would be education... but I was wrong... it simply became a group of people lashing out at another group of people... (not my cup of tea). I have learned to NOT make comments on certain issues... as I don't have the patience or tolerance for RUDE remarks.

You and I first met on the DC post... I stated that I could not understand how Christians would condone such a large scale event when it was made public knowledge that groups tied to violence would also be attending. To me... that is simply asking for trouble... My opinion has not changed... and the result of this rally was as I suspected.... filled with a very violent incident... One that many could never have imagined... Capital Hill was broken into and at least one woman is dead. Even if she was shot by police ( and not a protester )... this RALLY cost her... her life.

The problem with this entire scenario is that INSANITY and lack of reasoning has overtaken the masses in these last months.... Trump can do NO WRONG in many people's eyes and Biden can do NO GOOD.... When you split the camps into good and evil... nothing can get accomplished... and no one can move on and forward.... America has fallen from grace... for all the world to see... the breaking into the Capital Hill seems to be like the cherry on top of the cake... This has played out like the HORROR of all horrors... Because America could not come together... she fell apart and has quickly crumbled into a pile of rubble.
It doesn't matter who is in office at this point...the damage done has been irreversible. It has been painful to watch from afar. People were warned to step away... but they chose to fight a battle that God was NOT behind.

The results are clear... the "prophets" got it wrong... and Mr. Trump is a narcissist. They do not lose well... and they have no problem bringing down EVERYONE around them... His remarks about Mike Pence who has done a remarkable job backing the president over these last four years is simply another example of the ABUSE of power. Mr. Trump has never been a leader... He has been a dictator. His lack of respect for others is what finally brought him down.

I have been back to these forums for about a month now... and I am guilty of trying to understand things I will never be able to understand... as a result of this... once again... this morning... after the brief fireworks of comments at me...
