The word gifts is not in the original, so the original translation

There is no "original Greek".
There are about 30 Greek NT.
"Scholarship" uses 3-4, and they are not original.

The only ORIGINALS, were the Apostles Actual LETTERS.
Those are gone, long gone.
What is left are copies of copies, with a few old sections of manuscripts here and there, that are also copies.
Then you have the Dead Sea Scrolls, and that is another can of worms, best avoided.

Never use the Greek to try to correct a Real Bible.
Also, unless you read and speak Koine Greek FLUENTLY, then you are not even reading the Greek Text.
You are reading the Translation, that is not the TEXT......its the Translation, and you think this is the Greek Text, because you must be kinda dumb.?
What else explains it?

People who can't discern a Bible, like to spend hundreds of Dollars, on Greek Lexicons, and all this Greek Text stuff, and they open it, and can't read the Greek, but they can read the TRANSLATION that is in the MARGIN, that is usually in English.
So, they then come running to a forum, pretending to be a "Greek Text Authority", and in fact, can't read Greek, and use the Translation only, and think they know what they are doing.

Avoid these : FAKIRS.

Matthew 28:1 is a case in point. But knowing what it actually says, and not what the modern translations say is eye-opening.
