Isaiah 61:10
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
NKJV

It is God that covers sinful men/women with His righteousness.

Romans 3:8-26
8 And why not say, "Let us do evil that good may come"? — as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.

(All Have Sinned (Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-4))

9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."
13 "Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit"; "The poison of asps is under their lips";
14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."
15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known."
18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

(God's Righteousness Through Faith)

21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
NKJV

In verse 25 we see that before Jesus paid for all of mankind's sins God passed over them knowing that in the future He (Jesus) would pay for their sins on the cross.

when they confess and rebound, certainly. Meaning every time they sin, they confess, and evince a meaningful desire to not repeat the sin; all stuff you needn't concern yourself with tho i guess? That knowledge bringing you joy, is it? Enjoy it while it lasts, k

"sins that were previously committed" bro, not "future sins" sry

1 John. " But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin."

All we have to do is make sure that we walk in the sunshine of His love and light.
"God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. "

"Abide in Me.."

You continue to show your ignorance in scripture.

25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

Previous to what? Before or after the cross? it says through faith and

26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
NKJV

The present time is when? before or after the cross?

What does verse 26 mean to you? Obviously you discount the words "justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."

All we have to do is make sure that we walk in the sunshine of His love and light.
i sure don't see how advising ppl that they do not have to keep the law can accomplish that!
this comes from preachers who want to spread knowledge that brings joy, for money

and these will be called "least in the kingdom"

I do agree that not many have a good balance...and many are after the "happy clappy" comfort preaching....but some do and have the true balance between positional truth and the walk of obedience for our feet.
Both need to be in balance.

ah well a thing i see is that many people don't even have a valid def of "law" anymore, wanna drag Ancient Israeli Law into it, when we have our own laws based on the Decalogue?

"freed from the law of sin and death" does not =
"you do not have to keep the law."

In a measure I agree...insomuch as we must choose to "live in" the law of the Spirit of life ...if not, we remain under the law of sin and death.

To the religious fruit is keeping the law. But what does the scripture say about it?

Gal 5:21-26
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
NKJV

so then by definition all i gotta do is say that i am Christ's and then voila my flesh is crucified, right.
To the religious fruit is keeping the law.
well, that is your definition,maybe some ppl feel that way yes, dunno
But what does the scripture say about it?
def not what you are implying bro, that is for sure.

For verily I say unto you, Till. heaven and earth pass, one jot or one. tittle shall in no wise pass from. the law, till all be fulfilled.
and
So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven

is what my Bible says wadr
