God doesn't believe in atheists...

A friend of mine was asking me if I have heard of the book, God Doesn't Believe in Atheists.I think that is such a funny title. Since we know He made us all, He certainly knows that within us He placed the ability to believe in Him and has told us in His Word that He reveals Himself to everyone, so each person is without excuse on Judgement Day (Romans 1). I mean no disrepect to any unbeliever reading this, but I truly don't believe you don't believe. I believe that Satan is attempting to blind you, but you are here searching for the Lord for a reason. He is drawing you with His great love and no it is not a "forceful" thing. It is a grace and mercy thing. Why would you die in your pride and sin when you can come to the cross and receive everlasting life and a friend who will take you through anything possible without ever leaving you? He is a beautiful, wonderful Savior. He is deserving of our worship and praise. We can never give Him everything He deserves, even if we gave Him everything we have and everything we are. Why must we feel such a need to know everything and be in control of everything? We are not all-knowing and never will be. We can know the all-knowing One, though. I said in another post and I'll say it again. It's like being at a great party and trying to explain it to someone, but you just don't have the right words. You have to say," You just had to be there!" That is how it is when you're in a place of worship and everyone is singing and praising His name together. There is no place on earth like it. You just know the Holy Spirit is in the room. No one could manufacture that in so many people's lives and for this many centuries. Be open and pray. Be diligent and honest. Do you want a change of heart and mind, or do you want to hold on to your own stubborn pride and opinions? You will bow before Him one day and confess He is Lord. Why not choose to do it now while it's your choice. You will remember reading this, as well. You will remember all of the times the Holy Spirit prompted you to come to Him. The sad thing is that it will be too late. Satan is rejoicing that you are choosing his lies over Christ, who is the only true way to heaven. You think it is you who is making the choice, but you have an enemy that is whispering in your ear. If God would open up your eyes to see the spiritual world around you, you would be so afraid that you would run to Christ. He wants you to come to Him because you love Him; not just out of fear. But, rest assured, the Bible warns you of all of the wrath to come and of the spiritual battle you 're in for your soul. No, we don't follow Christ blindly. Faith is quite difficult actually. It takes great perseverance and discipline. Doubting is easier. Jesus' ways are much more hard to live by than the ways of the world. Look at His life and see for yourself. I know many Christians are having a difficult time looking like their Master, but remember that Satan is trying to destroy their witness for Christ, so he is hot on their trails trying to defeat Christ's work on the cross. I don't know who this is for, but I felt an urgency to write it. May the Lord be honored in the writing of it. May people be drawn to Him and have an abundant life that He alone can give.

No, we don't know that. Here's a simple test: Do you really and honestly think that the people who have had NO CONTACT with the outside world on the Amazon know about God? We (at least as disbelievers) don't "know" at all and he's yet to reveal himself to me. With so many people who are disbelivers or of other religions, I think he needs to either change tactics or work faster.

Pride isn't a bad thing, even when I was a Christian pride wasn't a bad thing. If he takes me through something impossible or inprobable, then I'll be impressed.2.) I already have a friend like that.

I've been to church, where people are very much in complete adoration of God and are waving their hands in the air. I wasn't so thrilled.I have been to some awesome concerts though and honestly, I can't describe the atmosphere, you should come to one!

I do all of these. Everytime some I've spoken to has recommended I pray, I have.

Faith is difficult, hence I'm struggling with it, you won't find me disagreeing on that one but I do have the ringing of one of your first statements that you don't believe, I don't believe. Therefore... is faith really that difficult?

Instead of sending some messenger my way, it's rather getting like "Hey my friend has a crush on you". Well, good morning to all. I haven't been on the computer all week due to busyness of life. Apparently, this thread struck a nerve with some people. First of all, I'd like to say that I am surprised that what I said was so offensive. But, I have a hard time seeing into your minds and believing that you don't believe since the Bible says that God reveals Himself to EVERY MAN. Since I believe what God's Word says completely, I don't mind being taken as foolish, unwise, unintelligent. People thought so of Jesus too. They wagged their heads at Him, spat on Him, accused Him of not being who He said He was, and He was in complete control the whole time, never ceasing to love them. I am trying to love you too. I am praying that my words will plant seeds for Him. I don't wish to bring harm or hurt to you, so please don't let my words do that. If you truly don't believe, then I apologize to you for assuming that. I am basing it on what God says, which is a greater authority. Also, as far as reading into one another's thoughts, I think that was going both ways as I was accused of being prideful, but I didn't mean it like that. I was accused of conjuring up an emotional state to worship and the same goes for me as goes for you , right? Isn't that fair? I honestly believe and know that there is a God and I am worshipping Him with my whole being. I see the difference He makes in my life. I couldn't make it without Him. He gives my life fullness and causes me to see the joy in being able to sit back and see His creation and creatures with the beauty He put inside them. Take for instance the children and elderly and their innocence. Who would want to take time to visit with them and teach them about the Lord and see the twinkle in their eyes as they accept by faith the promises of the Lord? Some do, but many more find it a bother. I say to you that it makes my life so rich. Money cannot buy that! You can argue about any of the things you want, but they do not affect me. I know where I stand and I know Who saved me when I didn't deserve it. It's soooooo not about pride. It's totally about a Savior who will love you, does love you, seeks you, does not enslave you, but waits for you to reach beyond Satan's grip to find Him. I'm sorry if I have not satisfactorally answered what you wanted me too, but I can only share my story. I am not the wisest person in the world, true, but that's okay with me. Jesus doesn't care. He takes me as I am and I can rest in that. My debates would be with scriptures, and you probably won't buy it if you aren't open to it. I'll be praying and hoping and waiting... as God has promised that His Word will not return unto Him void. Again, forgive me if I insulted you. His by Grace...I for one am quite impressed with your ability to speak your heart and your goal in doing so, which obviously is to reach others. This post deserves a high five, and a pat on the back!Our job as Christians is to plant a seed, and you have most definitely succeeded. In order to plant that seed, one must break ground, till it, mix it up, stir up some dust. You have done all of these and your seed is planted, and is growing.As to any one being offended by what you have said, Praise the Lord. If I were you I would be quite proud and blessed. Heard in what sense exactly? If I heard from their mouth they loved me personally then sure.Why should I expect more from God? Because according to believers, he is all powerful and can do anything. A normal King or Queen is restricted by well basically being human, physical distance, etc. God however I'm lead to believe is not.

Whoever told you God hates you,it's not true. Then He hates me as well and all of us. God so loved the world,which includes people. He might not like what we do many times,but He loves us,you... and even me. He tells about His love towards you in His Book,Bible. He might also tell you that He loves you through HIS HOLY SPIRIT which dwells in Christians,who have accepted Jesus into their lives. So actually it's Him telling you through other people,but it's HIM. God does not just love us He likes us. Your mates who are not christians ,might also say they love you,which is great, but only God's got agape love. People don't, we as humans fail in that, why- because we are not perfect as God is.

I'll be praying and hoping and waiting... as God has promised that His Word will not return unto Him void. Again, forgive me if I insulted you. My love and desire to see people saved causes me to want to reach out to you. If I don't say the right things, I pray the Holy Spirit will. He is faithful and true.
You are lovely person His By Grace, you are intelligent also and I like you and love you with sisterly love. I'm not perfect either and far from intelligent,how the world sees it. But I love God and Jesus. And I know God loves me too and He is the only perfect one as you said, that's why we love to be with Him. At least there is somebody who knows what's going on when I don't.

You always manage to make me laugh, Thunder 1. Too cute!! Yes, He does always know what's going on even when we don't. So, even though Remegoen and Pildit didn't respond to me (they could be too busy like I was last week; I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) I will trust that the Holy Spirit is planting in them a seed of belief in Him. Their words say they don't believe, but in my heart, I will not give up on them. God is faithful. He is merciful. He is just. I just know, somehow, they will see Him for Who He really is- totally deserving of all honor and praise.

Pildit,Well you have maintained that you do not have a personal relationship with God. The point is one does not demand something from another person of greater status, whether they are king, queen or God. If it would be silly for the subject to demand it from a monarch, how much sillier for us to demand it from our Creator?
We've got to know he exists first before we can actually believe he loves us.

For those that were following, we were not really speaking to belief or not. Pildit asks what anyone is fighting for if Christ had already run the victory. My reply was God loves Pildit and the fight would be for his immortal soul.Pildit's response to my saying God loves him was why didn't God tell him himself. The unspoken assumption is that if God did exist He MUST declare His Love to Pildit. Not only that, but probably in terms Pildit would accept.Pidlit demands that God do so to prove His Love for Pildit. My point was simply that we would not even think to make such demands on a sovereign, so why should we expect God would respond or that it would be proper for us to place such a demand on our creator when we would not on a king or queen. The very fact Pildit exists rather than not, speaks to something.IOW the question, "why doesn't God tell me himself that He loves me" makes no sense whether one believes in God or not.

Excuse me, but Pildit can speak for herself.Demand isn't a word I would use. ASK is the word I would use.And again King and Queens are far different from God. God can reach beyond boundries of a human being, therefore, yes we can ask more of him. That's not to say one has to be nasty about it and say "show yourself to me NOW!".And my point about love is this - a King or Queen in my experience does not claim to love each indiviual personally, therefore of course would not tell them so.Also belief does come into it, because either first I need to be convinced he exists in order for me to believe that he loves me or he personally tells me in some unmistakable way that he loves me, this proving both his existence and his love for me.
