Hi there,
So I've been thinking about my relationship to the Holy Spirit, for some time and I have sort of had a revelation. The revelation is that God has given me a gift, based on strengths he has developed me. Those strengths are that I "resonate" (like empathy but more general) and have "clarity" (I always have an idea of some kind). What is interesting is that this has developed in to a gift, at the hand of God. I will explain this gift
The gift God has given me, is that I understand what people do (mentally) and why (what their motive is).
It is still early stages, but I think I am beginning to see that "character" is an internal relationship to God. Like the longer you are in connection with God (within), the more character you develop. If you take up your Cross, you develop that character.
What is interesting is that you can begin to see, where others need you (because you know what they are facing "spiritually", what they are trying to do within - for the sake of spirit) and you can begin to see, "why" people are doing what they are doing - whether they have a relationship to God or not.
Ultimately what people want is character, once they are mature - but the fruit may be good or the fruit may be bad ("by their fruits you will know them" Jesus)
All I did was ask "how does who I am in Jesus, change how I see those Jesus wants to save?" of the Holy Spirit.
I have a lot of confidence know, which is great - may that also save souls from destruction.
