Has anyone consider that God made Adam and Eve. Would God have both expressions of Man and woman? If that is the case, in Christian culture, should people worry if a person chooses to change their expression from what is normal? Aren’t they able to still have a heart for God and even the Lord Jesus Christ who was raised and paid for their sins already?
Many people really focus on these type of things regarding the flesh, aren’t we all more than the flesh? But souls? Created by God?
It's a good observation Matthew.
In the beginning elohim made man in their own image. First, consider that, and who/what these elohim are. Divine ones.
If "God" is the Father of all-- these divine ones, like Him are spirit, for God is spirit and spirit gives birth to spirit. The elohim are ben-elohim. Divine children (sons) of the Divine One-- Father God. And I say "sons" because He is a Father and these divine offspring come from His attributes. They are like Him having male and female "expressions" as you note.
But the images that were formed by the elohim??? They were made in their own image, but then later a female companion was made from a part of the whole. A part was taken out of the whole and separated from it and that is where we get male and female from.... it was a revision requiring the removal of a part from the whole.
And this is the answer to your question. It's an allegory of sorts, which can be used to gain a small understanding of the nature of the Father, who does not have expressions of man and woman, nor Father and Mother-- only Father. Why? -It's because this mother part, this female part of Him (the whole) was removed from Him in a spiritual sense, and though-- like Eve was separated from the whole Adam, he remained himself and complete in and of himself, there was a part taken and separated from him that became her. It is only
from him and
through her that offspring come. Only by the coming together, the union of these two parts that procreation occurs.
This is the story of mankind, but it all begins with the story above. God is not flesh-- flesh is not a part of Him. He is Holy God-- Father. He is spirit and His children are spirit-- from a spiritual union that produces children---- the images of which, are us.
