Those """"unbelievers"""" that are baptized are NOT saved they just got wet!!
Baptism does NOT save, it is believing and calling on Jesus that saves, If baptism saves then there was no need for Jesus to give His life on the cross!!!Think!

We know that Baptism saves us because Peter said so.

That's nonesense. Why would there be no need for Jesus to give his life on the cross?
You might just as well say that if belief saves you then there was no need for Jesus to give His life on the cross!!!Think!

Believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior and call on Him to save you!!
Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13 GOD SAYS=
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved......

Do not try to use a verse that you do not understand and ignore the "whole" of Bible teaching that is what cults do!!Beware!!
There are verses that say Jesus is the Lamb of God but we know Jesus is not a sheep!!! Another verse say Jesus says,"you must eat My flesh and drink My blood==is that what Jesus wants believers to really do OR must we think and use good understanding and wisdom?

I do understand that verse.

It is you who do not understand Rom 10:9-10 and it you who are ignoring the "whole" of Bible teaching by concentrating on two verses taken out of context. That is what cults do!

You cannot answer what Jesus said in Mk 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved
You cannot answer 1Pet 3:21 when he says - Baptism, ........., now saves you...
So you try to ignore them and hope they will go away. But they won't.

Answer them GISMYS and explain why Peter didn't mean what he said and Jesus didn't mean what he said.
Your problem is that you cannot.

A classic response of people that cannot answer a point that is made - divert on to something else.

Simple!!! Peter didn't mean baptizm saves because the Word of God does not teach that deception misunderstanding!!!

But Peter did teach the word of God, because he clearly states that Baptism, ........., now saves you...

Moreover Jesus who is the Word states He who believes and is baptized will be saved
That's belief + baptism = salvation

In 1 Peter 3:21, Peter tells us that baptism now saves you, yet when Peter uses this phrase he continues in the same sentence to explain exactly what he means by it. He said that baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh (that is, not as an outward, physical act which washes dirt from the body - that is not what saves you), "but an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (that is, as an inward, spiritual transaction between God and the individual, a transaction that is symbolized by the outward ceremony of water baptism). By saying, "not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ," Peter guards against saving power to the physical ceremony itself.

Just as the eight people in the ark were "saved THROUGH water" as they were IN THE ARK. They were not literally saved "by" the water. Hebrews 11:7 is clear on this point (..built an ARK for the SAVING of his household). NOTE: The context reveals that ONLY the righteous (Noah and his family) were DRY and therefore SAFE. In contrast, only the wicked in Noah's day came in contract with the water and they all perished.

Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved (general cases without making a qualification for the unusual case of someone who believes but is not baptized) but he who does not believe will be condemned. The omission of baptized with "does not believe" shows that Jesus does not make baptism absolutely necessary for salvation. Condemnation rests on unbelief, not on a lack of baptism. So salvation rests on belief. *NOWHERE does the Bible say "baptized or condemned."

If water baptism is absolutely required for salvation, then why did Jesus not mention it in the following verses? (3:15,16,18; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26). What is the one requirement that Jesus mentions nine different times in each of these complete statements? *BELIEVES. *What happened to baptism? *Hermeneutics.

John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who (is not water baptized? - NO) does not believe is condemned already, because he has not (been water baptized? - NO) because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I went through all that in post #30
