I thought you considered yourself a Bible scholar.
Jesus says his kingdom is not of this world. How about that?I've been waiting a long time for you to prove a millennialism with Scripture.
Please break it down the way you understand it to be.
Scofield Bible says so. If you have one look it up, no Dispy is worth their salt without one.False
Jesus says his kingdom is not of this world. How about that?
No, because I cannot understand why you would make that claim. I'm puzzled. Why? You will simply ignore it.
He says it comes without observation.First of all, you are misquoting in second, which is normal, you did not post a verse.
Scofield Bible says so. If you have one look it up, no Dispy is worth their salt without one.
John 3 says the new birth coming spiritually like the wind, it cannot be seen.He says it comes without observation.
"At hand" is never a positive affirmation that the person or thing said to be "at hand" will immediately appear, but only that no known or predicted event must intervene. When Christ appeared to the Jewish people, the next thing in the order of revelation as it then stood, should have been the setting up of the Davidic kingdom. In the knowledge of God, not yet disclosed, lay the rejection of the kingdom (and King), the long period of the mystery-form of the kingdom, the world-wide preaching of the cross, and the out-calling of the Church. But this was as yet locked up in the secret counsels of God. (Mat 13:11); (Mat 13:17); (Eph 3:3-10).Quote the Bible.
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20–21)That is not a verse.
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20–21)
It all means the same thing. The kingdom is spiritual and not physical.Luke 17:20-21 New International Version (NIV)
The Coming of the Kingdom of God
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”a]">[
The Bible is quite clear we do not know when the rapture will occur. But we know once it occurs exactly 7 Hebrew years later the second coming will occur. That is immediately followed by the millennial kingdom on the earth by Christ.
Matthew
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
Very physical and visible at the second coming.
Matthew was under Mosaic law.
Christ had not died yet so course the kingdom was not physical yet.
This is on the earth.
Revelation 20 New International Version (NIV)
The Thousand Years
20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. Theya]">[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

See if you can spot how heretical this is. What's wrong with it?
Did you spot the really big error yet?1000 years is a day unto the Lord, so it is at hand.
It does not mean immediate. It means soon.
Did you spot the really big error yet?
Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world too. What I saw was you doing your normal. I posted verses and you ignored them.
You have been taking this saying OUT OF CONTEXT ever since you came on board. Do you even know what He meant and what He did not mean?????Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world too.
