And have All men who have lived since Jesus' resurrection been saved?

Are Jesus' words about a place of torment ( hell ) meaningless.

God will not force anyone to accept His love, forgiveness, salvation we all must choose.

So God does not make his love, mercy, grace, majesty, holiness and power known to those he has chosen in such a manner that they think they have chosen him?

God is outside time =the Alpha and Omega=the Beginning and the End. God knows those that will choose or reject Him before they were born. We are free to choose but God knew before we did choose.

I agree with you GISMYS on what you are presenting.

The scripture is clear: The Lord desires that none shall perish.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

A brilliant Calvinistic answer.

In this passage in 1 Timothy chapter 2, we have one of the clearest passages in the Bible, for the Universal Death for the Salvation of the entire human race. This is known as "pontential" salvation.

In every instance in this passage, the word "ALL", refers, not, as some teach, to just an "elect" few, but the whole human race. The "ALL men", here include "ALL those in authority", as kings and other leaders. There is no restriction here that this is limited to only a few leaders, but ALL. Then Paul informs us, that it is "good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior", that we pray for this, because God, "DESIRES" the salvation of ALL MEN, those ALL mentioned earlier. Further, we read that Jesus Christ is the "Mediator between God and men,", that is, the ALL MEN in this passage, the human race. It then says that Jesus Christ, "gave Himself a ransom for all", the same ALL in this entire passage.

No honest, Bible-believing Christian can take these words in any other way, unless for theological bias, than for what it very plainly says, that God desires (wills) that the whole human race were saved. This is exactly what the Apostle John says in his Gospel, 3:16.

This is the heart of the God of the Holy Bible. Yet there are some who oppose this.

do you believe that God forordains all things that comes to pass?

Is God in control or is the devil in control, or do you believe in dualism where ' good and evil ' battle for control.

If God is God he is in control and planned, preordained, foresaw what was going to happen.

Then you must believe that God is the author of sin? Either God ordain everything or He does not. It cannot be both

Sorry for butting in.

but God foreknew what would happen and allowed it to serve His will ultimately. Did He force sin? NO! did He author sin? the Bible also says no! But He knew sin would happen if He allowed angels and Adam and Eve to have free will and He allowed it to take place for His purposes.

Foreknowledge is not the same as foreordain

I agree! God did not "force" or foreordain anyone to sin, but based on the strong implications of Scripture, we can conclude that giving the angels and Adam and Eve free will would result in sin. He allowed it but did not make it or ordain it to happen.

Follow the reasoning.
If God knew how we would choice, if God planned that we would chose do we really have a choice?
Yes!! God sees the beginning to the end and knows what we will choose but God knowing does not change the fact that we choose but God knows!!
