In general we prefer:
The 50% compromise helping each other, being on the same page, working, talking, spouses, family, knowing when to give and when to take.
The 40% of fun, laughing, playing, teasing, flirting, spouses, family, kids, etc.
The 10% leave me alone. Leave others, spouse, family, kids, alone.

Do little things for each other. With us, she buys me food I like, or she'll bring home an order from a restaurant when she goes eat out with her sister. I'll pick up fast food she likes, or Dairy Queen deserts, or whatever I'm having if I don't plan on eating it before I get home, Lol.
It works best when it's a surprise, like having a breakfast from McDonalds waiting for her for when she wakes up, together with a paper sitting on the table.
