There is always one or two Scriptures that prove the truth, and there is no other understanding without twisting or ignoring the truth:

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice. (Deut 4)

God's people are promised by their God to be in tribulation for their good, to turn us to God and purify our hearts.

Even in the latter days.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

When Jesus told them plainly of His generation, that their generation would see the tribulation of the last days come to pass, He either meant it, or He was playing a game of 'prophetic riddles', and so deceiving them who believe His every word to be out of the mouth of God and true as spoken.

The reason they were staring up into the sky waiting for His return, was because of that very promise of His to their generation.

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh.

All things fulfilled was the prophesy of Joel for the last days, and was confirmed by Peter preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and the cross for the first time on earth.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come.

Since the beginning days of the churches of God, the Comforter has come as promised to comfort all them in great tribulation, which was, and which is, and which is to come unto the end.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

It was, still is, and shall be impossible for any Christian to avoid the tribulation of the last days, because the churches of God have been in them since the resurrection of Jesus Christ, wand many antichrists already have come to deceive and destroy the faith of Jesus in the hearts of the believers.

We should neither avoid it, nor seek God to snatch us out of the way of it, but rather be prepared for it and be strengthened to endure it unto the end.

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile.

We seek to avoid tribulation and wrath of God, that destroys both body and soul in hell, not to avoid tribulation and wrath of men that, purifies our hearts and souls.

There is no question about when the tribulation of the last days will begin, and will the saints endure it, but rather when will these last days of tribulation end, and the Lord returns to the earth with His resurrected saints, that did, do, and shall endure to the end.

Tribulation is promised and necessary for the saints of God.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16)

Jesus went through tribulation unto the end, and it made Him perfect to become the author of eternal salvation for them who obey Him and endure the same as Him. The servant is not above the Master, and if they did so to Him, then they will also do to his people. (Matthew 10)

The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

Tribulation is for perfecting of the saints.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God...For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

Much tribulation is promised to saints, it must happen to help us into the kingdom of God. (Acts 14)

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. (Dan 12)

End of days tribulation is for the saints, to purify us.

Why would God snatch His people out of the way of that which is promised to us and is to help us draw nigher and nigher to Him in purity and faith? The proper understanding of the saint is to be prepared for any and all tribulation that will come in this life, to overcome and rejoice in it, not to avoid and be fearful of it.

But the fearful, and unbelieving...

It is not wrong to pray for peace and good things in this life, even as Jesus did in the garden, but we should not be begging God to keep us from that which is intended for evil by the devil, but God works all such things to our good for our souls' sake.

For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man.

The saints are to have understanding of who the beast is at the time of the beast.

Why would it be so important for any believer of any generation to know something about which they may never have anything to do? God doesn't write Scripture just to 'share knowledge'. Knowledge is puffed up and useless if it not useful for doing. Knowledge of Scripture is for doing His will, and to be prepared for trials and tribulation to overcome them.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth. (Rev 14)

Here in the last hour before the Lord's return, is where the saints are to be patient in tribulation and continue to keep His commandments by the faith of Jesus. When that last hour is here on earth, that is when the saints are to be strongest in His word.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience...Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer...

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The elect saints that have endured, are enduring, and shall endure unto the end, will come out of great tribulation washed clean and white as snow, not before it.
