Has anyone taken note of the fact that throughout society and government, even at international level, the "environment" is being touted, even through Walt Disney as in its latest animation, "Moana", as being the big evil threat to mankinds existence? That the environment, if fixed, will solve all mankinds problems? And that it is not only up to mankind too fix it, but we are its only solution? Because man is destroying what is being promoted as the "source of life"...aka "Mother Earth", then it is up to man to solve the problem, and through that solution "save mankind".
Anyone see a major problem here? Anyone see a counterfeit gospel? See an alternative solution to what is now not a sin problem, but a survival problem because of a damaged environment? Even the Pope is getting in the act by promoting and increased observance of Sunday as being beneficial to the environment.
So sin is removed...the Savior is removed...a counterfeit problem is promoted along with a counterfeit solution.
Who among you is buying into this?

I think envirmentalism demonstrates the faithlessness of people today.

They do not recognize God's existence and so fail to consider his power and sovereignty over the earth. Instead they make themselves out to be gods by first prognostication that they are the problem, and again as the potential solution.

Not to mention it redirects their guilt to a useless solution, contributing to a sense of self-righteousness for their efforts.
