David. Nutrition can play a big role too. I fight (more so 'accept' these days) bipolar, but have refused standard medication and therapies. Self medicating has given me some temporary relief on occasion, but usually leaves me worse off than had I not done so.

@bbyrd009 here. He knows a lot about this sort of thing. Even nutrition directly in regards to mental health issues. I have stumbled and bumbled my way through my condition. (NOT recommended!) I can testify to the very significant difference that nutritional approaches can make. Some claim more than meds of any kind. If it is a true chemical and neurotransmitter issue then getting the proper nutrients is essential!!! I have read countless testimonies about people who took meds, but only got some to little to no relief. When they focused on nutrition that it made the greatest difference by far.
God is pleased by merely wanting to please Him.
God is further pleased by actually obeying Him.
God is even further pleased yet when we trust and obey Him and press on in spite of our weaknesses, situations and conditions.
Some of the greatest heroes of the Bible were bipolar. Elijah comes to mind.
Many artists are bipolar and produce their greatest work while in the midst of a mood swing. My point is that this thing can be managed. Exploited even. Used to your advantage.
