I wanted to do an article on persons that suffer from audible hallucinations, which might also relate to thought hallucinations which can be voices, which I was suspicious after reading the source of those hallucinations. Here is an interesting article from Yale. I suggest reading it as it covers areas that can induce unwanted spiritual attracted and harassment by demonic presences. It was an investigation to study person that do experience audible hallucinations.
When researchers listen to people who hear voices
From the article:
As much as 8 percent of the population reports experiencing auditory hallucinations on a regular basis (13 percent hear them at least occasionally), compared to just 1 percent who are diagnosed with schizophrenia. Where to find them? The pair considered charismatic Christians, practitioners of Santeria, practitioners of voodoo, crystal healers, and self-proclaimed druids. None panned out.
One day while riding the bus home, Corlett noticed the large number of storefronts offering psychic readings. Perhaps people who go to psychics would fit the bill, he thought. Powers and Corlett reached out to the president of the American Association of Psychics’ Connecticut chapter, who informed them they were looking for clairaudients—psychics who use voices in their heads to give readings and, the clairaudients believe, communicate with the dead.
Powers started going to association meetings and psychic fairs with another researcher, Adina Bianchi, to talk with clairaudients, Corlett says. Almost immediately, they believed that they had found their study subjects. To confirm their hunch, the researchers asked the psychics to undergo a battery of tests, including brain scans and an extensive survey that included questions designed to unmask fakers. The psychics passed with flying colors, leading Corlett and Powers to conclude that they hear voices much like schizophrenic patients do, but with key differences—the voices are friendly, they can be controlled, and hearers consider them a gift instead of a burden.
8% hearing audible voices, which if they are saying that is USA population that is about 26,640,000.
So I was not totally sure of the current state of the population and activities they are engaged and directed towards in society, including social media and schooling and other areas. And that did concern me as to the general state of the world population. Some of those individuals may eventually desire to escape demonic harassment, and then I would lead them and direct them to a proper Christian denomination that provide the orthodox religious services that are also found in non-traditional orthodox churches. That way God the Father, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost can direct and heal them from those afflictions:
We are baptized confessing our sins, Prayed over to receive the Holy Spirit by Priests of God, Received the Bread and Wine of the New Covenant of Jesus the Christ
Baptism, Confirmation for the Hole Ghost & Sacrament
Honoring God
Obeying the Commandments
Praying
Reading Scriptures
Attending a Church
Serving Others in Charity
Proclaiming the Gospel
Etc...
