The quote is rightly attributed to Oppenheimer.

The BG quote many think is relative to his is actually quite different:
“ I am all devouring death, and I am the generating principle of all that is to be. Among women I am fame, fortune, fine speech, memory, intelligence, steadfastness and patience.” BG 10.34.
