1 John 4:10 . . .This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us
and sent His son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

I wasn't especially fond of God at first. In point of fact, my beginning with
God was fear rather than affection.

The way I figure it: God is stuck with eternal suffering and can't get out of it
with any more ease than we can. For reasons I have yet to even guess, Hell
is unavoidable because it's the right thing to do; i.e. it has to be done in
order to satisfy a level of justice that our limited little minds will probably
never be able to fully grasp.

Aionios has variable meanings.
When applied to temporal things, especially the physical world, this word should be translated as ages, lifetimes, generations, epochs - but NOT ETERNAL! When it is applied to God, His domain and our salvation, then it means eternal. Death and Hades will be thrown into the Lake of Fire (HELL) and destroyed. (Rev. 20:14)
That is another word that needs to be examined. Destroy means to put an end to. A piece of paper thrown into a fire can't continuously burn for eons without end. No, it is destroyed and that is that. Otherwise you might as well describe Hell as an indestructible destruction or an imperishable perishing. That is a contradiction in itself.
You must ask, how and why would an eternal torture chamber glorify God? Why would he judge someone for an eternity for committing sins for sometimes not even a decade and at most 100 years? GOD IS JUST and gives us examples all through the Bible of His fairness in His judgments - usually proportionate to the sins made _ for a time and then it's over. Nowhere was there a permanent state of punishment. Yet the traditional view of Hell has held onto this concept for centuries. I believe Luther had a problem with it but was warned by Calvin to leave it alone. Maybe they thought that was too big or that the Church effectively used it as a scare tactic and so they should leave it in place?? Maybe he should have posted a 96 Thesis?
As the Bible says at the end of the book, all former things will pass away. That includes death (which means not only physical but spiritual death > separation from God). All one has to realize is that this Lake of Fire is more of a physical event when God destroys both the first heavens and first earth in a fervent heat,
(2 Peter 3:10).
The imagery in the scene of Gollum falling into that lava lake in the volcano at the end of "Lord Of the Rings" is pretty close to what it will be like. A few seconds and you don't exist anymore.
Btw, I believe the remnant of humanity saved is 1/3. Actually there are currently 2.5+billion Christians now, which is about 1/3 the population.

OBJECTION: It is God's desire that everyone be saved. (1Tim 2:4)

RESPONSE: It was likely God's desire that no one perish in the Flood, but
many did anyway.

Rev 20:14 . . Death was cast into the lake of fire.

Death isn't tangible. It's not an object; it isn't material, i.e. death per se has
no weight, has no dimensions, and takes up no space. I can understand
throwing a baseball or a javelin; but how does one throw something like
death?

Is it like throwing good money after bad, throwing your weight around, or
throwing someone to the wolves? I can understand those kinds of throwing;
I get it; but Rev 20:14 remains a bit of a mystery because the lake of fire
does not appear abstract; it appears tangible whereas death is not. How
does one connect something tangible with something intangible?

What if Rev 20:14 were to say poverty was cast into the lake of fire, or
injustice, or male pattern baldness, or tooth decay, or misandry, or
somebody's name? How would one go about throwing things like those into
the lake?

The first mention of death in the Bible is related to the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil. Did Adam pass away the very day that he tasted the fruit?
No, he continued to live for quite a few years. However, he lost immortality.
In other words; the day Adam tasted the fruit he began to age, and it was
only a matter of time till the wasting process finally broke him down to the
point where his body could no longer keep going.

1Cor 15:53-55 speaks of a victory over the wasting process. So I think we
may safely conclude that the death spoken of in Rev 20:14 has at least
something to do with mortality. But how does one throw mortality? Is it sort
of like throwing babies out with the bath water, or throwing a hissy fit?

1Cor 15:25-27 . . For he must reign until God has put all His enemies
under his feet. The last enemy that will be conquered is death. For God has
put all things in subjection under his feet.

Some translations say that death will be either abolished or destroyed. But
in context, it's not supposed to be wiped out to extinction. Death is
supposed to be deposed and vanquished; and become Christ's slave just like
everything and everybody else.

Rev 1:17-19 . . I am the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am
alive for evermore, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

The casting of death into the lake of fire suggests to me its involuntary exile,
i.e. its banishment because in the future cosmos and the new Jerusalem
depicted in the 21st chapter of Revelation, no one will have death to fear
ever again and the only place we'll be able to find anything at all related to
death, and or categorized as death, will be confined, stored, warehoused,
restrained, incarcerated, and/or archived in that fiery impound.

Rev 21:3-4 . . I heard a great voice out of heaven saying: Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall
be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more
death.

The law of God says: Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, burning for burning, and
life for life.

Where does that leave people like Ted Kaczynski who killed and/or maimed
26 people with homemade bombs; and leave mass murderers like Stephen
Paddock who indiscriminately sprayed a music concert in Las Vegas with a
rifle equipped with a bump stock resulting in 471 dead and/or wounded?
How are those guys supposed to balance the scales of justice for all those
people?

The law of God also prohibits dishonesty. Well; supposing somebody has
been less than totally honest upwards of 200 incidents in their lifetime? How
are they supposed to balance the scales of justice when each count of
dishonesty merits the curse mandated at Deut 27:26?

Well; the fact of the matter is: they can't balance the scales; which is no
doubt at least one of the reasons why Hell and the lake of fire are so
permanent. And even if they weren't permanent, they'd at least have to be
very long-running in order to satisfy justice for some folk.

NOTE: 181 million seems like an awful lot but in today's Federal spending
dollars, it's chump change.

Consider a trillion. It consists of a thousand billions; each billion consisting of
a thousand millions. So that a trillion is equal to a thousand millions multiplied
a thousand times.

In other words; one trillion is the numeral 1 followed by twelve zeroes,
whereas 181 million is 181 followed by only six zeroes. All in all, one
trillion is like 5,525 times greater than 181 millions.

Zech 1:5 . .Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets; do they
live forever?

My dad is gone, and the great preacher Billy Graham; he's gone too. My
favorite rock and roll guitar player during the years I was a teen-ager was
Chuck Berry. He's gone. While a sophomore in high school, I walked to a
theater after school to see "The Blob" starring a rather unknown actor at the
time named Steve McQueen. He's gone. My eldest brother entered the
Catholic priesthood and anon advanced to Friar. He's gone.

There's hardly a day goes by without someone passing away that at one
time was very important to me; a constant reminder that nobody lives
forever and neither will I. At my current age of 77, I'll be passing away not
too long from now. Most of my life has already been lived and I'm in the
home stretch. When I was a youngster, the horizon seemed forever far
away; but now, looking at my wasting body, it seems I'm walking on the
horizon's very edge.

I would like it very much if my friends, associates, and loved ones down in
Hades were allowed visitor days because after they're transferred to the lake
of fire per Rev 20:11-15, I may never get to be with them ever again.

According to Matt 7:21-23, not every Christian makes it to safety.

I would not want to be one of them because they will surely be mocked
cruelly without mercy by some of Hell's unruly crowd. I can just hear their
taunts:

Hey Bible man! How's about sharing the gospel with us ay? Tell us about the
love of God and how that's working for ya. Awwwww-Haw-Haw-Haw
Hawwwwwwwww!

I'd rather end up in Hell as a Bernie Madoff than a Christian because ol'
ponzi schemer Bernie is sure to be given far more respect down there than a
religious zealot.

Ps 115:17 . . The dead do not praise The Lord, nor do any who go down
into silence

The author of that Psalm is currently unknown. It could've been David, but
then again it could've been one of the Levitical priests. Anyway, that verse
speaks of everyone's afterlife journey, but it only speaks of one half: the
body's half.

Here's a portion of a country western song performed by Johnny Cash, Willie
Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson that tells it all.

I was a dam builder.
Across the river deep and wide.
Where steel and water did collide.
A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado,
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below.
They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound,
But I am still around;
I'll always be around.

Whether the Highwaymen were thinking of the afterlife with that song, I
don't know; but it's handy to remind us that the interment of people's
useless corpse isn't the end of their existence, i.e. they're still around:
somewhere around.

Gen 3:5 . . God knows well that when you eat of [the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil] your eyes will be opened and you will be like
gods, who know good and evil.

Was the Serpent's prediction true? Yes; to a certain extent.

Gen 3:22 . .Then the Lord God said: See, the man has become like one of
us, knowing good and evil.

Apparently human life was created minus a conscience; which is likely the
reason why some expositors refer to the time before the forbidden fruit
incident as the age of innocence.

FAQ: Did Adam know it was wrong to taste the forbidden fruit? And if so,
how did he know it was wrong without a conscience?

A: Right and wrong were irrelevant in the beginning. Adam's early life was
governed by Big Brother oversight.

Had Adam's creator (hypothetically) instructed him to eat human flesh, then
the responsibility for his diet would've fallen upon God. In other words;
God's sovereignty served as Adam's conscience. As to whether cannibalism
is morally right and/or morally wrong wouldn't have been for Adam to
decide. (cf. Acts 10:9-15)

NOTE: A Big Brother society isn't necessarily a bad form of government just
so long as its bosses are good people; but when unscrupulous monsters like
North Korea's Kim Jong-Un have the reins, then Big Brother societies are a
hell on earth.

Isa 48:17 . . I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good and
leads you along the paths you should follow.

Hell will be FILLED with people who don't believe in Hell! Including religious people. How can we tell? They deny there is an eternal fire where beings will burn "forever and ever".

The eternal fire will be filled with people who don't believe in the eternal fire.

The "eternal fire pit", burns eternally.
It (the fire pit) was expressly PREPARED, for
Fallen angels (who are spirits, that can not die).
"The People", IN HELL, you speak of are ACTUALLY, "departed unsaved souls" out of Physically dead mens body's, who heard of God, and Rejected Him, who heard of Christ Jesus, and Rejected Him.

Their dead body shall be raised IN HELL, their departed soul, returned to their body.
Books opened, Judged from the Books Evidence, Sentenced to Damnation...
Life of the soul (Gods Breath, returns to God);
Body without IT'S Life (Blood)
Body void of Gods Life (Breath in soul).
Body without A NEW born again "eternal" spirit.
It is thrown in the fire pit to be burned.
(It is a lifeless body, a lifeless soul) that becomes burned up and forgotten).

The everlasting "spirits" of demonic fallen angels, remain in the FIRE PIT, forever.
They are "remembered", because the "smoke" from the Fire Pit, shall visibly rise up to the earth.
By that point in time...ALL occupants ON the Earth will be born again men, with an eternally living spirit.

Gods MERCY, is given even those who reject Him...by:
1) God, departing LIFE from their Body (blood) and Soul (Gods breath)...before they are thrown in the pit.
2) God, NEVER makes their "natural spirit", born again into an eternal spirit.
Thus...without LIFE IN THEM, they do not "feel" anything.

Sure, but children of the devil also qualify.

1 John 3:10 (NKJV)
10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Matt 25:[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Judg 17:1-6 . . A man named Micah lived in the hill country of Ephraim.
One day he said to his mother: I heard you curse the thief who stole eleven
hundred pieces of silver from you. Well, here they are. I was the one who
took them. The Lord bless you for admitting it; his mother replied.

. . . He returned the money to her, and she said: I now dedicate these silver
coins to The Lord. In honor of my son, I will have an image carved and an
idol cast. So his mother took two hundred of the silver coins to a silversmith,
who made them into an image and an idol. And these were placed in Micah's
house.

Micah's mother (call her Ophelia) broke the very first commandment of the
covenant that Moses' people agreed upon with God on oath per Exodus,
Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy by making statuettes to represent
God. (Ex 20:2-4

The interesting thing about Ophelia's religious confusion is that Jehovah was
her God; but in the wrong way; viz: her religion was a mixture of truth and
error. The sad part is; Ophelia's mixed up religious beliefs didn't lead only
just herself into disfavor with The Lord, no, it led her offspring into disfavor
too.

Christians sometimes extol the mothers of the saints. Well let me tell you
something about mothers. They may mean well; but just because they are
mothers doesn't make them right. Ophelia is a timeless case in point.
Mothers are the best Judas Goats one can imagine. They can lead their
children to disaster with far more effectiveness than the demon world
because mothers have the advantage of trust. Kids are naturally inclined to
rely upon their parents, so they are easy victims of misinformation when the
source of that misinformation is moms and dads-- most especially moms.

You know what can be even worse than going to Hell? Your own children
following you there: and they trusted you. Can you just imagine the mental
and emotional anguish that mothers feel in the netherworld knowing they
brought up their children to follow an ideology whose pot at the end of the
rainbow is filled with brimstone instead of gold.

NOTE: Hell never sleeps, nor breaks for holidays, nor takes a vacation; it's
open for business 24-7-365.

Souls continuously cascade into the abyss in an endless procession like the
unbelievable millions of poultry broilers passing annually through Tyson
chicken processing plants on their way to Wendy's, McDonalds, Carl's Junior,
Jack in the Box, Burger King, Chic-fil-A, KFC, A&W, Arby's, Dairy Queen,
Taco Bell, et al; and to supermarkets and restaurants all over the USA and
wherever else Tyson vends its meats. The slaughtering and the butchering
never stop.

According to the numbers posted in the OP, by the time Mothers Day ends at
midnight tonight, approximately 55,096 people will transfer from the upper
world to the netherworld. A percentage of them will be moms.
