Can anyone explain why the world's biggest State sponsor of terrorism gets away with it?

Compare the moral clarity America had during the Cuban missile crisis. JFK said the US will consider a strike by Cuba to be an attack by Russia and will respond against Russia with the full arsenal of America's nuclear weapons.

Hamas. Hezbollah. Houthis. And others. All known to be financed and armed by Iran. Yet, when these proxy groups launch terrorist attacks, nothing. This is weakness that emboldens more terrorism.

There is a pervasive moral cowardice, a fear not to "escalate to a regional conflict." I feel I am anachronist, holding moral clarity generations ago.

Then, we take out their electrical infrastructure (power plants, etc.) and blockade any oil shipments from the country. I don't have absolute proof, but it seems like our President is under control of the enemy, specifically Communist China. If China were to gain control (buy off, threaten, or whatever) a President of the United States, I cannot imagine that he would do anything different than our current President is doing. Weakening our military, underminging our economy, and strengthening our enemy.

Iran has been a problem since the Shah was deposed, ~45 years. Republicans and Demon-rats besides Biden have been in power through the years.

My answer is the Deep State does not want peace. They want to play both sides of conflicts, benefitting from the Industrial Military complex. State power tends to decline during peace times. Therefore, they seek perpetual conflict.

Consider the brilliance of current American strategic diplomacy.

We sanction Russia and support Ukraine. Embargos, penalties, restrictions, blockades on Russian oil. We blow up a supply line of Russian oil headed for one of our NATO allies-- Germany.

So.... Russia sells their oil to India.

Then, we buy oil products from India.
