oopsI am asking him, I think you are missing why we are having this back and forth
Already did. God uses evil against evil!I gave you two verses, one obviously says Satan, which is this one
1Chro 21:1 Then Satan stood against Israel and incited David to number Israel.
Where is Satan in the next verse?
2Sam 24:1 Again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go, number Israel and Judah.”
Recconcle them
I don't think there is anything wrong with that, and about Job, how did He use Satan against a man who actually eschewest evilAlready did. God uses evil against evil!
You've never read Job? God gave Satan permission to destroy Job's family.I don't think there is anything wrong with that, and about Job, how did He use Satan against a man who actually eschewset evil
You've never read Job? God gave Satan permission to destroy Job's family.
But you sound like you skipped the most important part. Why do you always ask a dumb quetion, like, You do not read your bible, You never read Job (when I am quoting from the bible and I mention Job).
I didn't say Job was evil. Are you?I asked because you said, God uses evil against evil!
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
So I asking for you to recconcile your beliefs (that are so so literal)
I'm sure you will make something up to divertBut you sound like you skipped the most important part.
I did not accuse you of saying that, nor have I, but nice diversionI didn't say Job was evil. Are you?
Bottom line: God does whatever He chooses and doesn't ask my permission, nor yours. He didn't ask permission to drown all on Earth but 8. And He won't ask permission to burn BILLIONS of humans in Hell forever!I'm sure you will make something up to divert
I did not accuse you of saying that, nor have I, but nice diversion
Since you said, God uses evil against evil (meaning Satan against evil) and you said God only used evil against evil, seeing that God used Satan in Job's situation (and Job was not considered evil) recconcile your first statement if you are able.
Bottom line: God does whatever He chooses and doesn't ask my permission, nor yours. He didn't ask permission to drown all on Earth but 8. And He won't ask permission to burn BILLIONS of humans in Hell forever!
Absolutely!Satan needs Gods permission to sift believers
Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat
And he gets it, just as he did with Job.
Good we finally agree, good work grasshopper, hop alongAbsolutely!
And you just couldn't resist a personal barb, just like Satan.Good we finally agree, good work grasshopper, hop along
Wise grasshopper is an evil thing? Wow, I thought my dad meant it affectionately, he is still alive, I shall have a word with him.And you just couldn't resist a personal barb, just like Satan.
Oh you were complimenting me? lolWise grasshopper is an evil thing? Wow, I thought my dad meant it affectionately, he is still alive, I shall have a word with him.
I did say, " Good we finally agree, good work grasshopper, hop alongOh you were complimenting me? lol
Let's stick to Scripture.I did say, " Good we finally agree, good work grasshopper, hop along
There was nothing negative meant by it,
Its what my dad would tell me when we agree between us and when there was no further contention he would tell me to hop along.
Unless you want to hang out and bicker?
