'For this cause we also,The enemies of the cross are those who claim Jesus as their Lamb...for their own sins...but who continue to live for themselves. So these use God and Christ for their OWN SALVATION. And the enemies of the cross see nothing wrong with this selfish use of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
But Jesus calls us to follow Him...not use Him. They who seek to just use Him...are the enemies of the cross. These refuse so give up their lives...instead are looking to save themselves intact through a religious belief in Jesus as their saviour.

Hello Episkopos,
Thank you for responding to my post. I do not find it easy to follow your reasoning here, but thank you for expressing it.
In Colossians chapter one, Paul prays for the believers at Colosse that they would walk worthy of the Lord, be fruitful in every good work, and increase in the knowledge of God, be strenthened with all might, according to His glorious might, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. What follows is thanksgiving to the Father, why?
' ... which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through His blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:'
* This is something which has been done for the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, the words used are, 'hath' and 'have'. To deny these certainties is to deny the truth, surely? For it is written!
In Christ Jesus
Chris
