I was just making sure my friend . Praise be to the glorious LORD my friend . To the trenches .

There's a reason this thread is about how many Qurans are there.

Because Muslims claim the Quran is perfectly preserved from the beginning....while condemning the Bible as being corrupted.

It comes out that there are at least 26 different Arabic Qurans. Different words here and there that give different meanings. There was a Muslim that burned alot of Qurans trying to consolidate them into one. However some of these other Qurans are still around....proving the Quran is not perfectly preserved.

It’s important to clarify that while there are different Quranic readings (Qira’at), they are not “different Qurans” in the sense of conflicting texts. The variations are minor, mostly in pronunciation, dialect, or spelling, and do not change the overall meaning or message of the Quran. Scholars carefully preserve these readings through rigorous chains of transmission. Claims about corruption usually refer to interpretations or translations, not the original Arabic text, which remains consistent across the world. Resources like Dr. Jay Smith’s videos can provide perspective, but understanding the distinction between textual variation and actual corruption is key.

Welcome to the forum.

I’m not an expert on the Quran - I don’t read Arabic and have only read an English translation that was gifted to me by a Muslim friend and co-worker - but what you’ve stated aligns with what my friend told me about the matter some time ago.

Have you discussed it in conversation with Muslims?
