Yes, here it is...

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life....

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

..an absolute masterpiece of harmonization.
I think I agree with you. Does baptize mean full water immersion to you? Or a spiritual baptism but no water?

Your verse is using water symbolically to teach about the real baptism that saves, which is spiritual<.

This is the same as the verse that says....>"Noah was saved by water".

See that verse?
Well, Noah was not saved by water. As the water was the flood that was killing everything that was not in the ark.
So, if Noah had gotten into that water, he would have died.
Do you understand?

What saved Noah and his family FROM the water?
A.) The Ark.
And what is the Ark a symbol of? Its a symbol of THE CROSS that saves us from the JUDGEMENT OF GOD against our sin, = that is the flood that is killing everything that isn't in Noah's ark.
Yet the verse says...>"saved by water".
But this isn't LITERAL...........its symbolic.

So, your verse, "baptism doth now save us".....is not talking about water.
Its talking about spiritual regeneration, that is to be born again by the Holy Spirit.......not the water.
Have you been baptized by water, (full immersion)?

mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38
Ez 36:25-27

A sacrament is an outward efficacious sign instituted by Christ to give grace. Jesus Christ himself is the sacrament, as he gave his life to save mankind. His humanity is the outward sign or the instrument of his Divinity. It is through his humanity that the life of the Trinity comes to us as grace through the sacraments. It is Jesus Christ alone who mediates the sacraments to allow grace to flow to mankind.
Without the outward sign there is no inward grace!

Full water immersion with the name of Jesus Christ spoken over us to remit our sins per Acts 2:38.

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13
GOD SAYS=
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved.

no baptism no salvation

I thought you said “there is nothing we can do to be saved”?

now we have to confess with the mouth? Must choose (volition) will to do it
Works works works!
