"""For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved... IT = is the power of God."""

Reader, notice that Salvation is based only on : The Cross.
Accept no substitute, as the Devil's owned have many they will offer you in its place.
And notice that all who are hell bound, find The Cross and the preaching of the Cross = Foolish.
Then notice that all who have gone to the Cross, found the power of God, and are SAVED, thereby.
Fake Christians never talk about the Cross when they want to teach you their cursed Gospel of Works and Water... Galatians 1:8
Real Christian have met Jesus the Lord, when keeling before that Cross..... as they Gave their Faith in that Bloody Savior to God who sent Him to save YOU.

So, Salvation is 100% based on the Cross of Christ = and based on """" the PREACHING OF..... The Cross.""""

To TEACH Salvation, is to understand the Cross and to Teach it.
Its that simple, Reader.
Its that profound, Believer.

Now, when you are dealing with a lost person, unsaved.... they are this....... John 3:36.
They are currently damned, hell bound, and under God's Wrath.
For what?

For WHAT? ?????

= Their Sin.

Saint, to understand God's Salvation, is to understand what keeps an unbeliever damned, and apart from God.
And the REMEDY for that issue, is : SALVATION.

So, what keeps a person, an unbeliever damned, hell bound, and apart from God? ?????

Its their SIN.
SIN is what separates man from Maker .. All unsaved Persons from their Eternal Creator.

= Enter The CROSS of CHRIST. As its the CROSS of CHRIST that God provided which resolves all sin., and removes it forever.
The Blood of Jesus is the Grace of God, which is The Cross of Christ.... and its GREATER than ALL SIN.
"where sin abounds, GRACE, (The Cross of Christ, the Shed Blood of Jesus' is GREATER"

Romans 5:20

See that?
To understand that, is to understand God's Amazing Grace, which IS the Blood of Jesus.
And to explain that, is how you TEACH God's GIFT of Salvation.
Its that simple., and those who do not have it themselves, and can not see it, will teach water baptism, works, self effort, abiding, trying to be like Christ, enduring to the end, The law, the Commandments, ......in place of the Cross of Christ.

See all those?
Those are not Salvation. Those are not Redemptive. Those can't forgive sin, or impart Eternal life. NONE of those or all of those combined cannot deal with your sin or make you RIGHTEOUS, or accepted by God.
Heretics teach that they can. Heretics teach a CROSS-LESS Demonic Theology, that uses Bible words, Bible Verses and Cult concepts, to try to pretend they know what they dont yet even possess themselves, yet.
The CROSS of CHRIST proves that they are not in agreement with God's only offer of Eternal SALVATION.

Reader, notice that Salvation is based only on : The Cross.
Salvation is based upon the finished work of Christ on the cross, His death, burial, and resurrection. Without a resurrected and ascended Savior there could be no salvation. He needed to enter the Heavenly Sanctuary with His own blood and sprinkle it on the mercy seat in Heaven. So we need to make sure we present the whole picture when we speak about the finished work of Christ (which began with His perfect obedience to the Law of Moses before His crucifixion).

If only the cross saves and since Christ died on the cross for every man, (Heb 2:9), does that mean every man will be universally, unconditionally saved?

Enoch111,

When trying to rightly divided the word of God, we understand that verses can be literal, allegorical, or symbolic.

So....The Resurrection is the proof that the Cross is this.......

John 14:6

The Resurrection proves that God's Grace is the Cross of Christ as the Shed Blood and Death of the Savior.

Your verse, or rather what you wrote regarding the "sprinkling of the Blood", is symbolic.
So, dont teach that as Literal...

Let me show you ...

Notice... When Christ came out of the Grave, He had not been to Heaven, yet.
He did not come out of the Grave as the Lamb, or the Sacrifice, as He had already provided this on the CROSS.
See that?
This means, He came out of the Grave with His new Body, and this body had no BLOOD IN IT.
Why? Because the old one had shed HIS Blood on the CROSS.
See that?
So, THERE is your Blood of Jesus found, LITERALLY, as He came out of the Grave.
It was already SHED.
It was already OFFERED to God, as :

Hebrews 9:25-27

This means that the "sprinkling" in Heaven is symbolic, as Christ 's blood was already poured out on EARTH, on the CROSS for the sin of the world.

When we think of the "mercy seat".....this is really just Jesus Himself, as He is God's Mercy, Redemption, Eternal life and Salvation.
Jesus THE Christ.... didnt go to heaven after He literally rose from the dead in His resurrection Body to offer God MORE sacrifice, as He had already offered Himself fully, on THE CROSS.
This is why He said FROM the Cross.....>"it is FINISHED".
Jesus being raised from the Dead, proved its true.

Salvation, is Jesus on the Cross.

This is the "gift of Salvation".

Its a universal OFFER of Redemption .... through the Cross of Christ to everyone, for the last 2000 yrs.

Jesus said.. "If i be LIFTED UP (on the CROSS) i will draw ALL".....

= This is John 3:16....."for God so loved the WORLD.....that HE GAVE...... = Jesus on the Cross.

ITs God saying....... Come to me, all who will BELIEVE.... as Jesus is the Only WAY to ME....that I have provided.

= John 14:6

Not at all Be, salvation is dependent on many things, but the cross is nothing. I think you are referring to the fact that all people who do receive salvation receives it through the sacrifice of Jesus, correct? The reason I point this out is that many people have literally idolized that symbol. They have even promoted it as being symbolic of the Christian faith.

in answer to the topic however, to best teach about salvation is to teach the requirements for it sir. Which of course is part of our assignment Mat 28:19,20

Jesus met God's requirements for your Salvation, as only He can and did.
You'll never meet them, of yourself, no matter how many verses you try to twist to teach your Cult's "doctrines of devils", Robert.
.
God sees the Cross as His only Way of Redemption regarding the entire human race.
True Believers see the Cross as where they met their Redeemer and their Forgiveness.
Jesus sees the Cross as where He laid down His life for your Sin.

Of course not. See John 3:14-36.
You'd be right.

The cross of Christ provided a pathway to heaven but it is still up to man to take that path by obeying Christ (Heb 5:9). Most will not obey Christ therefore miss that pathway to heaven. Salvation therefore is synergistic, it takes both God and man for man to be saved....it took God to provide the pathway and man willing to choose that pathway by obedience to Christ...

Jn 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

"God GAVE His only begotton Son", the word 'gave' shows that God giving His Son as a sacrifice for man's sin was a free gift, God did not owe it to man.

"whosoever believeth" - 'whosoever' shows the pathway to salvation that Christ provided on the cross is available to any man. Yet only those who obey Christ by believing take that pathway.

Even though God giving His Son was a free gift to man, man must conditionally obey Christ in order to receive God's free gift. And man's obedience to Christ cannot earn what has already been offered to man for free.

“For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake” (Philippians 1:29)

“…for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.” (1 Peter 4:1-2)

The "Path' is Faith.
Jesus is the Way.
There is how you "obey".

God rejects your "but here is what i have to do to earn Salvation"..... as that "faith" is not faith in Christ.
Its faith in SELF.
As in SELF Righteousness, and you can't seem to stop posting all about it, Earnest.

Listen..
You take Christ by Faith, and God takes you by New Birth.

What isn't included?

Water Baptism
Self Effort
Trying to endure to the end.
Some idea of "abiding" by self effort
Trying to be good.
Trying to confess all your sin.
Trying to endure to the end.
The Law
The Commandments.

See all that?
NONE OF THAT IS THE CROSS.

Do you understand this YET?
WILL YOU EVER?

All That STUFF. = is MAN's performance, and that is ANTI- Cross.

You need to figure this out., asap.

God rejects your "but here is what i have to do to earn Salvation" .
Once again you cannot even provide an honest argument by putting words in my mourg I never said. Obedience does not earn salvation and you will never have any understanding of NT salvation to you give up your false ideas.

God rejects your "but here is what i have to do to earn Salvation".....

No he doesn’t.

Once a lost sinner receives the free atonement, he must endure to the end to be counted worthy of the free gift:

“…we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer…” (2 Thessalonians 1:4-5)

If you have to be "counted worthy", then the Gift isn't FREE.

Are you not able to think at all, about what your cult has taught you?

Listen, Its not a FREE GIFT, if you have to be worthy of it.

Understand yet?

If you ever do, then PM Ernest T Bass and explain it to him, as he's another who can't comprehend "FREE GIFT".

Again, then why does scripture say otherwise?

“…we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer” (2 Thessalonians 1:4-5)

Can’t you understand that the gift can be free at reception and must be kept by enduring as well?

Learn to comprehend that both are true and stop eliminating one truth for another.

It is true that we must “ endure”....What you don’t realize is that it is *HE* that sees to it that that Endurance takes place.....

“ It is *HE* that will KEEP YOU STRONG ( i.e. Endure) until the end , and it is HE That will Declare you to be BLAMELESS ( there’s that Imputed Righteousness That we talk about) when you stand before Him on the Day Of Judgement “......

, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer…” (2 Thessalonians 1:4-5)

Notice that it does NOT say that one is “ worthy” —— it says that one is “ counted” as being worthy .....big difference .....we are “ counted” worthy just like Abraham was.....and that was ON!Ybecause Of His Faith ...
“ Abraham BELIEVED God and it was “COUNTED” to him as Righteousness”

I Believe that Jesus died for my sins and walked out of that tomb three days later .....That is the Gospel Of 1 Cor15:1-4 That Saves a person if they Believe it .....it’s a Promise Of God

Abraham Trusted in a Promise from God and it got him declared “ Righteous” ( the Promise was that his descendants would outnumber the stars—- Abraham Believed it although it seemed impossible)

Gospel Believer ( me) Trusted in a Promise Of God ( That is what Faith is) ..... ( 1Cor15:1-4) and it got “ HIM” Saved also.....

If that will get “ me” Saved, it will work for anybody else.....once again, it’s a Promise from God and it is impossible for God to lie.....

Make sure that you get THAT behind you and God will put His Holy Spirit in you and then all the Obedience, Holiness , Endurance—— you name it—- and the Onus for seeing that these happen will be upon HIS shoulders as He will now fulfills the Promise to “ Transform you into the Image Of His Son”...... it’s HIS task to perform and it will be accomplished in HIS time......sometimes it can take a while and in the meantime, the Believer is covered by Grace.....when he “ stumbles” and HE *WILL* STUMBLE because of the sin “ that so EASILY Besets us”, the Child Of God may be Chastised , but Salvation itself will never be in Jeopardy.......Those That Put theirTrust in Jesus to Save them “ ALREADY HAVE Eternal Life and shall ** NEVER** come under Condemnation—— they have already passed from Death to Life “.....(John 5:24)

Huh?

Please do not add to the word of God to make it read:

“But he that I shall cause to endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13)

The words in red have been added by you.

Please don’t do that:

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)
