You personally don't understand yet in an attempt to gain traction you use the words 'we' or 'anyone'. The fact that you don't see the terms, 'objective reality' and 'paradigms' as having any bearing with truth seekers reveals the very thing I stated in my reply to you in post #37.

You are apparently not where anyone else is…does that not bother you? Is it just you and Jesus? or are you out on that limb all by yourself, imagining that Jesus is sitting there with you, waiting for everyone else to “get it”? How long will that take?

Whose ideas do you espouse?….your own??…or is it a mix of celestial supermarket shopping?

Yeah, well I guess plenty had given up on Jesus....particularly when he started talking about eating his body and drinking his blood......and plenty were quick to can him because Jesus' popularity with those who assumed they knew the 'greater truths' was thin and it had influenced the crowds sufficiently to cry out 'crucify him, crucify him' ......in spite of all the miracles he did among them over years, they insisted, 'we have no king but Caesar'.

God will bring ruin?? Do you really believe God causes these events?

He "created the destroyer to work havoc". And "I the Lord create both good and evil." Just like in Job the devil accuses mankind and must seek God's permission to cause tribulation and havoc. The Lord gave me to understand that in this way He is ruling and reigning just as much in the things He passively allows, as He is when He actively intervenes. If God is judging and allowing bad things to happen we must give Him the glory, not the devil, because He rules and reigns over the devil and everything that happens.

He speaks to us in parables........that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not hear. We need to rely on the Holy Spirit, not scholarship.....the Lord reveals things to little children who are relying on Him, but hides them from the wise and learned (not saying to avoid scholarship entirely, it certainly can be a useful tool at times, as long as that is not where we place our reliance). We need the Lord to reveal His meaning of a thing, whether He is speaking in a literal sense or in an allegory, or both.
