Thinking that it's ok for murderers and rapists to have eternal bliss= evil.
Thinking that is totally wrong= good.

I think that Jesus would value critical thinking over blind faith, I think Jesus would know who in this world are the sheep who don't question what they are told and would actually want people to question as he supposedly did in his lifetime.

Jesus, whom you call a "good man", plainly declared that He is the only way to God, the only way to have eternal life, the only way to be forgiven of sins.

You can say these things can be interpreted in different ways, but I personally do not believe someone can honestly do that. These sayings are made in simple plain language with no ambiguity.

Not blind but tested faith. Atheism is a blind faith void of critical thinking. Being skeptical is fine but what about your next step; will it be in faith or rebellion to his Will?

That‘s the code. Obedience first. Submission first. Do not trust in your own understanding first. Humility first.

That's exactly what I don't understand.
Having faith will never be enough for me, I need more than that.

I don't pretend to know how the universe came to be, I don't subscribe to the science knows everything brigade... Science is a work in progress.

It's hard to dismiss that a creative power beyond our comprehension doesn't or hasn't existed, I just don't see it in any religion that I've come across or have knowledge of.

I understand what you're getting at although if God created man, then God gave us the grey matter to use, he made us as individuals with our own personalities and 'freedom of thought.'
If God made us and is all knowing, God must have known that there would be men and women like me. God must have known that most of his children will be doomed or damned or whatever you want to call it.

It sounds very suspect when you equate God with love for the children that were created in his image.
