That is a possibility. He was a regular here and I for one miss him. Online and offline I have lost many friends and family in the past few years. It seems like they are happening more frequently all of the time. I attended another online funeral of a dear brother in Christ this morning. His wife died 2 years ago and it seems so much more recent than that...

He is stronger than ever it seems now that he is past his surgeries. He drove the 130 miles alone to the funeral in person this morning!

I guess my age is really showing here. The first phone I remember in my mother's house was a crank phone on a party line. Then our small town got rid of all the local telephone operators because they had installed a rotary telephone system which eliminated quite a few jobs. It was the latest thing then... Now like me the rotary phone is also out of date...LOL

Estimations of life expectancy in the US...pretty much puts the downward slide in ones 40's. And seriously, look at how many in their 40's are still thinking and acting like babies...

I have heirlooms handed down, antiques that interest me, know their purpose, but didn't necessarily grow up with using them.
Can say, some old worn hand me downs we did have, even when many others had more modern conveniences.
Heated water on the stove, used a galvanized round tub for bathing...oooh la, la, you would have thought by all the kids excitement that the Lord Himself delivered us a water heater and real bath tub!!
God is Good. Reminiscing, thankfulness, never far from my thoughts.

It's almost 12:30 am. I took a nap today so now I'm up late and giddy.
I just type in google search... ummm..
fruitcake pics for instance... just as an example..
and you get a bunch of pictures of said item. Then right click on the image and then click copy image,
then come back and post it with a right click to paste.

Now Addy had posted something about sharing some fruitcake, maybe on another thread, but I don't think Truman likes fruitcake for some reason, I don't remember..
Somewhere around 4 pages ago Addy said she didn't want to play the game and NOT to tag her.
Well, the first thing I thought of was FRUITCAKE!
Then Truman told me if I posted another one he would delete it.
But the FRUITCAKE was for Addy, but I don't want to tag her.
So stunnedbygrace thought about us tagging her and telling her we loved her, but thought maybe she might take it wrong.
But I thought it was a GREAT idea,

I hope he gave a fat reminder about JESUS at the funeral . Lambs never stop working for the LORD .

Just about all of the antiques for me are those pictured on my postage stamps. They require less space and are usually considerable less expensive!

I don't know about you, but I feel like a creamy rich aromatic cappuccino Brazilian with the pretty fernleaf design in cream on top with sprinkles of chocolate around about in a mug especially designed for my fat fingers and made lovingly by an experienced barista ... The trouble is I gave up coffee two weeks ago. :

What I don't feel like is pouring through the 145 posts between the time I was tagged and now.

That man is so being used of God!

He is indeed, sister. They are still asking from various places all over this country as well as others for him to come visit them them. If he were 50 years younger and in perfect physical health he could not do it. There is not that much time. He listens carefully to God to sift through them and give the proper response and where needed visit as well...
