Christmas is approaching, and I feel blessed. I feel like I have had my Christmas presents already. I watched my daughter sing Christmas carols a few weeks back as part of a choir, and I have had good news with regards to a court case I am pursuing.
By contrast, a lot of people will have a miserable Christmas this year. Many people in the UK are literally starving. This is not joke. Many people are turning to food banks. No one I know is - yet - but that could change.
Anyway, I have problems. I have things to bitch about, but I am grateful that I can look forward to nice food and a warm home this Christmas.
