IDENTITY THEFT: Stealing God’s Gift of a Name:

The identity under consideration is the title of “Israel.”

When this name first used, it was bestowed on Jacob by God at Peniel, after he had wrestled with Him through the night and it was given to designate the patriarch’s new spiritual status: in God’s own words, “Thy name shall be no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince you have power with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

This name is unique! God, wanting to purify and equip His patriarch of the future Covenant people, Himself wrestles with Jacob, giving him strength to continue and even prevail, in his desire for the blessing. Jacob’s own strength was unequal to the task, and crippled in the struggle, he received strength from God: as with the names He gives, it is; what the name implies.

It should be clear that this is not a name to be bestowed by men, as God has created and reserved it for His own special use. It should also be clear He retains the right to strip the name from whom He will, and for people to use this name when it is not of right, is stealing from the Almighty God!

Moses Prophesied:
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which He shall speak in My name, I will call that person to account.
Deuteronomy 18:18-19

This is a warning to heed the words of those appointed to the prophetic office, and in particular of Him who is the culmination and fulfilment of that office, Jesus of Nazareth.

Consider the destruction and exile that was brought on those, who with wicked hearts refused to “hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all His commandments… Deuteronomy 28:15

That promised destruction is shown in: “I will call them to account… to ancient Israel and the Jewish nation after Messiah appeared among them.
Peter, in quoting from this passage as he spoke to the people of Judah; “And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that Prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Acts 3:22-23

We have seen it specifically taken away from those of the House of Judah who, in the time of Christ and the apostles, refused to “hear that Prophet,” who rejected and killed Him. Jesus said: those born into the Kingdom [of Israel] will be thrown out and many from around the world will come and sit with the Patriarchs in the Kingdom of heaven. Matthew 8:11-12

God divided the nation, those who were His, and those who were not, even as aged Simeon prophesied over the infant Jesus in the temple.....many in Israel will stand or fall because of Him.....Luke 2:34, Isaiah 8:14-15

From this point on, many people of Israel gathered around their King, Messiah Jesus. Those who did not were “cut off” from the people by the conquest of Judea by the Romans. The Christians were able to escape to Pella.

Jesus Himself foretold this when He announced to the chief priests and elders of Israel, “The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Matthew 21:43 Immediately prior to that statement He told them the same thing in the parable of the vineyard, there holding up a mirror to their motives and actions. Some of the priests, and a few Pharisees, did turn to Him.

The “identity theft” by a people of a mixture of ethnicities, whose only claim to the holy Land was their religion of Judaism, which only about a quarter of them actually practised.
Was and is now, amazingly and stupidly supported by many in the Community of faithful Christians, God’s authentic “holy nation”.
1 Peter 2:9-10, Revelation 5:10.

Many Christians promote the Jewish state as God’s Israel, His chosen people, despite their blatant apostasy, atheism, LGBT approval and their continuing rejection of Jesus and they insist on it, overlooking – or avoiding –God’s decree on the matter.

The reason they do this is because an immutable tenet of the ‘rapture to heaven of the Church’ doctrine, is the Jews remaining on earth, under Tribulation, while they sit in heaven. All of which is utterly false teaching, that will never happen.

It is every faithful, born again Christian, all who follow the Way of Christ, Galatians 6:14-16 and are the Overcomers for Him, the Victorious ones over Satan, as seen in each of the seven Church’s of Revelation; who are the true Israel of God.

This is what the Lord says: Assuredly the wickedness of Judah will never be wiped out, they will die for it. Isaiah 22:14

God does not love those who hate and reject Jesus. They will die and only a remnant will be saved. Isaiah 6:11-13, Romans 9:27

The belief of a Jewish redemption, is wrong and won't happen.

Jeremiah chapter 13:1-10 Jeremiah is instructed to buy a loincloth. He is then told to hide it near a river. After a long time, he retrieved it, but it was ruined.

Jeremiah 13:11-27 Thus, I shall ruin the enormous pride of Judah, these people with stubborn hearts, who worship other gods – they will become like that cloth, no good for anything. Hosea 8:14, Jeremiah 8:5-12

......I bound all Israel and all Judah to Me, so that they should become a source of renown and praise to Me, but they did not listen. Isaiah 31:6-7

....I shall make all who live in Jerusalem drunk..... I shall show no compassion nor refrain from destroying them. Obadiah 12-16

Pay heed, be not too proud to listen, for it is the Lord who speaks.
Give glory to God, before the light that you look for turns to darkness.

If in the depths you will not listen, then weep bitterly for the Lords people are carried off into captivity. J
Judah conquered by Babylon and again in AD70 Ezekiel 21:14 says there will be a third swing of the sword.

The towns in the Negev are besieged, no one can relieve them. Judah has been swept clean away.
This is paralleled by Ezekiel 20:46-47, Isaiah 9:18-19, Jeremiah 10:18, Zephaniah 1:14-18, Hebrews 10:26-27

Will we believe God's eternal living Word or the ideas and opinions of little men????

Read and believe God's Word== Romans:25-26 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. 26And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob. 27And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

The fullness of the Gentiles = the remnant of Ephraim a.k.a the house of Israel (Genesis 48:17-19).
All Israel = the remnant of Ephraim + the remnant of Judah who believe in Jesus.
That's the mystery. Jesus took away their sins 2,000 years ago. Once for all time.

Anyone outside of God's Kingdom Israel through unbelief is a Gentile because in Christ there is neither, nor (neither Jew nor Gentile). Same outside of God's Kingdom. Neither/nor.

Israel is being saved every time there is a Jew or a Gentile coming to faith in Christ, and the only qualification for any Jewish person is:

And those also, IF they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in. For God is able to graft them in again (Romans 11:23).

Romans 11:27 "For this is My covenant with them, when I have taken away their sins."

It happened 2,000 years ago. The New Covenant of which Christ is the only mediator, not the one of which Moses was the mediator.

Romans 11:30-32 For as you also then disbelieved God, but now have been shown mercy through their disbelief, even so these also have not believed now, so that through your mercy they may also obtain mercy. For God has shut up all in unbelief, so that He might show mercy to all.

The "you" in the above verse is Ephraim. And that is the mystery:

Romans 9
25 As He also says in Hosea, "I will call those not My people, My people; and those not beloved, Beloved."
26 And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them. "You are not My people; there they shall be called sons of the living God."
27 Isaiah also cries concerning Israel, "Though the number of the sons of Israel is as the sands of the sea, a remnant shall be saved.
28 For He is bringing the matter to an end, and cutting short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work on the earth."

The above verses in their context in Hosea are prophesying only about Ephraim a.k.a the house of Israel that had ceased being a nation before God 700+ years B.C.

22 What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction;
23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy which He had before prepared to glory;
24 whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also of the nations?

25 As He also says in Hosea, "I will call those not My people, My people; and those not beloved, Beloved."
26 And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them. "You are not My people; there they shall be called sons of the living God."
27 Isaiah also cries concerning Israel, "Though the number of the sons of Israel is as the sands of the sea, a remnant shall be saved.
28 For He is bringing the matter to an end, and cutting short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work on the earth."
29 And as Isaiah said before, "Unless the Lord of hosts had left us a seed, we would have been as Sodom, and would have been like Gomorrah."

Genesis 48:17-19 Young's Literal Translation 1898

"And Joseph seeth that his father setteth his right hand on the head of Ephraim, and it is wrong in his eyes, and he supporteth the hand of his father to turn it aside from off the head of Ephraim to the head of Manasseh; and Joseph saith unto his father, `Not so, my father, for this is the first-born; set thy right hand on his head.'

And his father refuseth, and saith, `I have known, my son, I have known; he also becometh a people, and he also is great, and yet, his young brother is greater than he,
and his seed is the fulness of the nations (Hebrew: gôy, Gentiles)'".

The literal translation from the Hebrew is "the fullness of the Gentiles", and it's translated into most English language Bibles as "a multitude of nations".

And that
is the mystery Paul is referring to in Romans 11:25.

I agree. I don't believe God has everything to do with everything man does.

The Zionist Congress was established in 1897 by Theodor Herzl. In 1917, Arthur Balfour, the British foreign Secretary, issued the Balfour Declaration announcing British support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine. It was handed to Lord Rothschild, a prominent Zionist leader and member of the British Jewish community.

Palestine was divided up between Jews and Arabs in 1947 by the United Nations - the organization that is the creator of the modern-day state known as Israel - and in 1948 after their "war of independence" the same United Nations gave the Jewish part of Palestine its independence, and the Jews (quite naturally, in my opinion) chose the name Israel for their new state.

It was the realization of the goals of the Zionists. I don't personally believe God had anything to do with it. Many Jewish Rabbis and many other Jews don't believe God had anything to do with it either. It's nothing unusual or anti-anybody to believe that God had nothing to do with it: The United Nations, the British government, and the Zionist Organization are not God.

But I trust the state called Israel a lot more than its enemies, and it's as legitimate a state (recognized by the U.N) as the U.S.A or any other, and is full of wonderful people, in my opinion. On the whole I would imagine they're nicer than the people you'll meet in London and New York (I'm going on what a lot more than one visitor to Israel from USA and U.K have said).

I also think it would have been absurd if the Jews had not chosen Israel as the name of their state, because of their history, which we all know is contained in the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures. So whether or not they are blinded (as any unbelieving Gentile is), the name "Israel" being applied to them makes sense (from a purely human perspective). Any other name would seem absurd.

But we know that Israel = the Kingdom of Christ only.

But we live in the real world. We're not past this Age yet.

Absolutely right.
Therefore; anyone else who calls themselves Israel is an fake.

The Jews, that is the two Southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin, plus some of the other tribes assimilated; were part of all Israel until they separated in King Rehoboam's time. They have never yet rejoined, so they are not now a part of the House of Israel.
Jesus showed the difference very well - the Jews were a nest of vipers and members of Satans synagogue, to mention just two quotes.

Jesus came to save the House of Israel. Matthew 15:24, He was successful and we Christians are the result.

Two Israels.

Romans 9
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

1. Of Israel:
Not all Israel
The children of the flesh
Not the children of God
Not the children of the promise
Not counted for the seed

2. All Israel:
Not of Israel
Not the children of the flesh
The children of God
The children of the promise
Counted for the seed

Only one of these two Israels shall be saved.

Romans 11
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Only the faithful obedient spiritual "all Israel", comprised of the believing elect beloved remnant from Israel (Romans 9:27; Romans 11:1-5,26,28), and believers from among the Gentiles (Romans 11:11), shall be saved.

"God's eternal living Word".

Do you have in mind like what happened to Jesus when He called the Jews; a nest of vipers, and said they belonged to the synagogue of Satan?

The Jewish State of Israel rejects Jesus and prohibits Christian evangelizing. They tout Tel Aviv as the LGBT capital of the world, plus...
The Bible says in over 20 prophesies that God intends to virtually wipe them out.
Your disagreement is with God.
