What answer would you have given a week ago?

One that would have treated you as if you are a Christian rather than an Agnostic. One that would have been unappealing and ineffective.

If Christianity is true... that changes everything. In some ways, I envy the Christians. They have something I don't have. And it feels like I'm not allowed to have it. Like it's being kept from me.

Oh, I remember so well, even though it is 50 years ago, how scaring it was to jump into the unknown deep. The idea to quit with things I liked and to do things I did not like, such as getting up early and going to church on sunday morning 10:00 were always a big obstacle. But I jumped anyway, best decision of my life.

It hinges on the resurrection of Jesus. If I were you I would forget about Christianity for the time being and focus all of my attention on the resurrection. If he is still dead then Christianity isn’t true and you can safely throw it in the trash receptacle.

In some ways, I envy the Christians. They have something I don't have. And it feels like I'm not allowed to have it. Like it's being kept from me.

If he is alive then you can have what he offers.

In my experience, most who register or profess Christianity are not true Christians and do not know what it means to be a Christian. They manage to recite a few verses from Chapters of the Bible, or even quote their religionists from the pulpit, and some even dare to create their own religious words that amount to nothing. Thus you will find that because of this seeping spiritual insecurity or immaturity in most, they play it safe, and stick to their weekly reunions with friends and acquaintances at their favorite spiritual watering hole. There are safety in numbers you know.

Christianity is true and real to those who know they are habitually drinking from the right unique bottle of spirits. Most drink from the many different spirits, common to this world, I assure you.

I’m curious @JustMe ....you have registered as “other faith”, yet promote you Christianity....can you tell me why?

You seem to have a good understanding of why most professed Christians are not what they think they are....”Christians” in name only, without a real relationship with the God whom Jesus served.

It should be obvious my comment is not about promoting the label Christianity as commonly used and understood by most people and I presume yourself included. I promote the real faith of the real spirit of Christ possessed and lived in and by everyday, beyond believing in just a set of handy religious Christian axioms from the Bible (and then many of these are generously exaggerated and edited to suit) as the core basis for owning the label 'Christian,' that most so-called Christians lack. It is a spiritless form of Christianity that is possessed and promoted here as in most public forums and places of worship. And without another title choice available to me, the 'other faith' label must be used as there is no other way to distinguish my view on this subject.

A watchtower adherent agrees with you.

Seems fitting indeed

Watchtower and other cults deny the testimony of Jesus.
EVERY ONE OF THEM, struggle, as you do, over God's word.

The doctrine of pre-trib rapture also deny the Prophecy and Testimony of JESUS and the Apostles

they also deny and/or add to God's words what HE never said

Aren't you a little presumptuous, or maybe I misunderstood your post. I generally do not struggle over the word of God, unless those who disagree with my interpretations quite often say it is so, using many colorful different words at times. And what is denied in the testimony of Yeshua anyway? All of it! I hope not. I believe with your statement you can drive a semi through it. More details are required to engage any further.

Post one of the pretrib rapture verses that you disagree with.
Slinging generalities and accusations is hiding behind your presumptions and anti biblical theories.

Well, NONE exist in Scripture so there's that!!!

I have done your homework over and over.
You just revealed you are not aware of the compoments and concepts pretrib vs postrib rapture debate.

For example , all of you struggle and create alternate dynamics in Rev 14.
....and none of you so far know who the 144,000 Jews are.
You know why???
Because if the bible is correct, there is A gathering in revelation 14 that is prior to the coming of Jesus on horses in revelation, 19.
That has to frustrate you guys to no end, and why you have to go personal, and literally make up things in Matthew 24, revelation 14, the 144000, and the 10 virgins parable.

You guys blew it irreparably in the invention of "there is only one coming"
Wow a little kid with a bible could blow that one apart into next year.

None of you know that Jacob's trouble is ...Ahem....ISRAELS TROUBLE.

So, you don't know that the rapture is the gathering of the bride, and the tribulation of 7 years is "Jacob trouble", which means God has shifted his attention to his covenant people, Israel.
none of you know that or understand it, and it is actually the basis of all escapology in all of end times.

Then we have "before the flood ,one gathered, one left behind",In mat 24.
Look that one up in your teachers and get a laugh at what silly inventions they make it into.
Then for more laughs get a postribber to unpacked the 10 virgin parable.
There has never been a postrib that knows any of what I am putting on the table.

It's like shooting ducks in a barrel.

Ok, I'll only play for so long, until I see no point forthcoming.
.
This particular separation is quite clear: Who decides on what are the doctrines sourced for the Bible, or should I say from the Bible combined with the philosophies of men. Those of the majority, who exercise control of the press, printing and publishing houses and media of any kind. Hardly those in the minority corner who yield little power to voice their truth and doctrine without getting bashed. So which side of this ill-formed and lobsided coin do you reside on? For me I'm not on either side of any religious institutional coinage of Rome. Never really was, and never will be. I live on the third choice, away from the religious and Roman cults. They are all cults in my view to varying degrees.

"Just me" quote from another thread:
""Now for someone to suggest from verse 24, and/or verse 28, to conclude that Yeshua was divine or the same as his Father, YHWH, they need to really hide their heads in shame. They dishonor both the Son and the Father, who is YHWH""

Exactly what watchtower does to the testimony of Jesus.

The bible says Jesus created all things.
The cults say Jesus was created.

The bible says only God receives worship.
"I the Lord am a Jelous God, thou shalt have no other God's before me"
Jesus received worship.
The cults have a created being receiving worship.

Jesus said, " Destroy this temple and then three days i've raised it up"
The cults can not do anything with that, but actually smear it into some reframing, so Jesus in their workbook, did not raise himself from the dead.

Jesus said " I am the Same yesterday today and forever."
You align yourself with the cults and say, "no, he is not, he was created".

Again the bible says Jesus is creator.
EVERY CULT WITHOUT EXCEPTION, stumbles all over that.

The FATHER SAYS concerning Jesus in Hebrews, " Thy throne o God is forever and ever"
You and the cults say that is false.

Wow.
We ALL BELIEVE he comes after the trib.

That is not even part of the debate.

You remind me of those trump haters.
When asked "why", they just look at you.
All they "know" is they hate him...they have no idea why.
All you "know" is you hate pretrib rapture.
Then when you are SHOWN a SEPARATE COMING BEFORE THE WHITE HORSES COMING OF REV 19........YOU STARE OFF INTO SPACE.

Pssssst......beyond any DOUBT....ANY DOUBT...NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY....THAT PROVED MORE THAT ONE COMING.
Rev 14: 14 beyond any doubt....destroyed the "one coming", made up mess, that you guys invented.

I can pm you the info on where to send the truck and title.
