Then one day declared it illegal and began executing all those who continued to sell it.

Hmmmm Gamestop, well Silver stocks rocketed on Monday 40% to above 70% in one day, due to rumours that it could be driven up to $1000 an ounce, the next day silver stocks dived....

It sound like Reddit's WallStreetBets has been playing a bit with the market.

Today I played two different stocks.

Amazon and a bio pharm.

I should have cut my losses on bio pharm but I'm long it...
Amazon had earnings reported today so I shorted it...
And I had a feeling about it...doubled down on it too. But in the end chickened out with only $350+ up at the end of the day...if I had hung in there with my convictions I'd have walked away with over $1000.

The math, the model, and a fair amount of educated guessing were right today...with bells on baby!

I hadn't played in a long time. (30 years) but the mechanics are still the same.

Ah, I am new to stock trading, I got some silver shares the other day, and it rose heaps on Monday, I chickened out early and had a 24% profit, but it could have been a 49%, if I got out at the end of the day, so when I saw they were still rising, I bought back, and the next day they dived back down haha, OUCH!!!

My aim at the moment is short term trading with a small amount of money and growing that small amount.

Anyway I am learning

Silver bets were losers today...I guess I could have played that too...but taking the kids money away from them isn't exactly what I am all about...others don't have such a compunction.

I played the top of the wycoff spring on Amazon. It was a great ride.
Buy on rumor sell on fact. And amazon reported today...and hogs get slaughtered.

Bio Pharm is a value play. It's making lots of sales and has a great look. Should be good to go back over $610. (US)

If people were executed for clear cut cases of bribery instead of "White collar Jail" then a lot of the abuses of power would go right out the window and stop.
