Those verses sound very scary GH.
Maybe the writer of Hebrews didn't really mean them??
It almost sounds like we could forfeit our salvation.
Can it be?
I would suppose that if it's written in the bible,
then it must be true.
Writing on this forum is kinda like texting and a person's intent can be misunderstood.
It is an absolute fact that a person can lose their salvation and a Christian can lose faith and they can sin their way to Hell.
As the scriptures say.....work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Salvation is a journey and Yeshua expects us to be good and do good....to the best of our ability. You are so sweet I imagine it is easy for you. But it is not so easy for others so they come up with this belief that Grace is a license to sin.
Then again, Yeshua is with us on our journey and it is important to walk with Yeshua. Because when we trip He is there to pick us up and dust us off and continue on our journey. Salvation is not easily lost, particularly if our intent is good. As Yahweh said.....If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it Genesis 4:7
