Modern medicine is an illusion. It’s vanity. It has caused more severe infirmities to manifest.

I had some issues involving my heart years ago, but I resisted and avoided all the directions of the doctors who wanted to put me on medication and to come under the “care” of specialists.

Its been nearly 10 years now since I had a heart episode (thank God).

I have frequent bouts with sinus issues, but I take over the counter stuff only in rare occasions when it’s severe and unbearable.

Otherwise, I do this which helps immensely:

1 Timothy 5:23
...use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.

It’s best to go through sicknesses and ailments having complete faith in God. Nothing happens by chance. You will not live if it’s your time to die, and you will die if it’s your time to live.

2 Corinthians 12:10
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Philippians 2:27
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Amen same with my wife who needs insulin and thyroid pills to stay alive. Also she is 10 years cancer free from surgery, chemo and radiation.

The vaccine may not stop you catching the virus but it will lessen the symptoms if you do and may save your life. You should still obey the restrictions.

MAYBE! Sometimes these meds do more harm than good in the long run. But this is not the issue. You’re comparing meds that have been around for decades to a new untried type of “vaccine.” Not a fair comparison.

I doubt she will try that, but she does believe in that first.

Praise God for modern medicine. It does not always work, but it helps alot. It is a great time to be alive because of it too. The civil war surgeries musta hurt!
