You have seen the "mountain" as a "life crisis" but that crisis is just another form of religion.

Everyone who is born again, or not.... is going to face hard times, and sometimes those hard times are beyond what we can handle.

For example.

Lets say its 3am, and the phone rings and its your sister telling you that... "mama is in the ER, and they dont think she is going to live'.

So, that is a "mountain" and you can't solve that..

But God can.. and so, you take that mountain to God, in Prayer...

Amen!!....we rely 100% on God and no other...took him a long time to get me to that place of understanding.

We can do “ NOTHING “ without him, we are totally and utterly dependent on God and NO other...in Jesus Name..Amen!

Many a mountain has God moved in my life!....only he can do it...if it’s his will...nothing can stop it.

Commentary.

Faith that moves mountains believes that God is bigger than those mountains. Faith that moves mountains believes that “Nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37).” Faith that moves mountains believes that God is all powerful and can accomplish what is humanly impossible.

Matthew 17:

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers:

The disciples knew it was proverbial hyperbole.

Gill mentions a few extrabiblical references to this proverb:

"A grain of mustard seed" is proverbial for smallness. The "moving mountain" hyperbole follows it.

You can move the mountain if you have faith as small as a mustard seed. Really?

No, not really, according to Ellicott.
That's what it says, that's what it means. The problem is, we say we have faith, but when it comes right down to it, we really don't have the kind of faith Jesus was referring to. When we pray and it doesn't happen, we then resort to saying, 'oh, it must not have been God's will'. So, did we really have faith to begin with, the kind that Jesus was referring to? No! For the most part, our faith is generally lacking because of our limited view of things, based on our limited understanding and resultant skewed fleshly benchmarks. It's just the way it is.

Whatever. Do you have the kind of faith Jesus talked about, the kind that Stephen had? Then go tell a mountain somewhere to be removed. The joke is on you, not me.

@DJT_47 ...You previously posted (essentially) that you have no real faith, that its not possible for you to have it.

You projected that false belief on all the members, and that's not a good thing to do.

What i can tell you is that if you are born again, = then God's ears are open to your prayers.

In fact its God's own WILL to answer a Believer's Prayers.

Believe it.
Its True.

Simply realize that if God loves us so very much that He would send His Only Begotten Son To Suffer and Die for us, then certainly this same God of Love, would want to answer our prayers.

Put your trust there, and let that become your Faith.
