I would also make the point that many Christians are voting for Trump for that very reason...to receive power. Did Trump not promise the church power?

@Ziggy I would add something to the above. The US secretary of state recently addressed Catholic representatives in the US embassy for the holy see. The entire speech was an apologetic for Catholicism...and he an evangelical Protestant. The highest spokesman in the government in foreign affairs declaring the Vatican as the highest moral authority in the world and upholders of religious freedom. In Revelation there is coming a union...the beast, the false prophet, and the dragon. One, the dragon, representing spiritualism and the occult. The beast, Catholicism. The false prophet, apostate Protestantism. This three-fold union is forming now...it has intimate ties to the UN...upholds globalism...connected to secret societies...supporting the NWO even enabling it. The Protestant refutation of the reformation is enabling a Catholic "revival" in the US, in that while Protestants rightly allow Catholicism to be active in the nation as a religious body, their neglecting of historical truth and denial of the reasons the reformation was necessary in the first place, has allowed Catholics into the highest positions of power in the land. The question that Kennedy was motivated to answer, is regrettably no longer asked.

I have been thinking about this and you seem to think the Church is monolithic in nature as if it's all one. The truth is there is no one Church at most there are two Churches and one has a but load of children who left. So when you say "the church to grow" which church? There are churches that are Spirit filled, maybe not the way you guys think of but the Spirit is there. I think it's a bit of an ego trip saying the church needs to be Spirit filled as if all churches had to be like what you envision.

Trump promised the church political power in 2016 to overcome the perceived threat of the left... Removal of Christian monuments such as the Ten Commandments from government buildings and property... The perceived erosion of Christian rights in education eg prayer in schools etc... The demand from lgbtqfxxk folk for equal rights... The abortion issue etc etc. The conservative Christian right views for Trump because I'm him they thought they had a person who would defend them against their enemies. Get the corrupt anti God socialist scum bags out of the halls of power and back under the rocks from whence they crawled.

The church, for the most part, teaches that sanctification was an instant event that happened when we first believed. What we are left with is a carnal body that Christ will visit, but not dwell there. He is about to change this. One way or another.

True. The title itself is preposterous, since it suggests that Christians must give Satan all the elbow room he needs to carry out his evil agenda -- STEAL, KILL, AND DESTROY. The problem with that is what kind of church. You did not say anything about the CHRISTIAN church, nor did you mention JESUS CHRIST one time. You can keep your spirit filled church where you keep it. But thanks for the offer.

qualifying every single statement every time is a tedious exercise. When there is limited vision one might need to say, 'here is a rock, here is a pit, here is a wall etc etc.....but for those who see or at least claim to these things ought not be necessary.
I notice Jesus made many statements that his hearers misunderstood and misinterpreted. Their misunderstanding was because of their own deficit.....their insistence of adhering to views that were flawed.
In making statements that are difficult for some to understand we are prompted to make enquiry first rather than dive into the barrel of criticism assuming our reference point is flawless.
