For what is it that Caesar has that did not come from God? Is not Caesar also only a steward rather than a real owner for until we, with Jesus, inherit, what is ours? What is Caesar's?

I do agree although that is probably not the whole of it. Going from there consider how many people do not understand the basics of the those six principles. I won't be so foolish as to insist that I do, but God does if we only really learn to lean always on Him... His sheep hear His voice!
Okay anatomically we must have a form of protein...usually from meat...Jesus preferred fish...

Then it's time to grow...

Yes, and those verses are also speaking of growth, which means from the 'milk' of a baby to the 'meat' of maturity! While we have time, we must continue to grow. To do otherwise is to stagnate and die to God Himself! Where and when and what is the 'second death'?

Amen! They speak words and even sometimes read the scriptures but without the Spirit of God, so that even those quoted words of the scripture are dead! Famine indeed!Paul was not able to feed them with meat, because they were still carnal.
I look around the churches today and I'm thinking.. FAMINE.

And then of course the example of Satan quoting scripture versus Jesus quoting scripture. The words of Psalm 91 quoted by Satan were dead! The words of Deut. 6:16 quoted by Jesus were alive and defeated Satan!

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." Matt 4:6-7
This is going to seem a silly question... but could this be why one might have breastfeeding infants dreams? To possibly symbolize that there are many that are still on milk and never seemingly satisfied?

What does it mean to reign with Christ?

Thanks for always having kind words on here for me and others and for caring about what people are doing for God. The selfishness of people, me included, is taking me down this evening. I need some prayer now. Ask God to help me get to where I need to be! Ask God to help everyone on this forum to move in that direction as well. Our God is able!

Thank you for this brother. Just a momentary lapse on my part. I know better, but I am also still just a somewhat fallible human. I plan to spend a little special time with the Lord this evening. He will help me.

What follow below was written less than a week ago by our friend @bbyrd009 a few days ago using the title which I have also applied to this thread:
So, it would seem like we are to seek the “meat,” right? The meat of the Word is supposed to be a good thing, isn’t it? And vv like I’d rather never eat meat again, and were tired of this manna, give us some meat to eat! just kinda get glided over, the first ostensibly an ode to vegetarianism, perhaps, and the second the complaints of most anyone limited repeatedly to a single choice of food, but i suggest that there is a direct connection here to fruit of the tree of knowledge, and meat and milk might need to be better defined.
As there is no phrase “meat of the Word” in the Bible, how are you defining it? List some synonyms even, “truth, facts, absolute truth, immutable truth” and then understand how that might fit with the vv above. We all know that New Believer who is Absolutely Sure of Everything, right; and manna is not called what is it? for nothing, i bet
Anyway, i guess this should be made plain by a simple Bsearch of “milk” and “meat” which ill prolly do tomorrow if someone doesn’t beat me to it, but i bet milk will just like glow more or whatever when read together

Milk is something a baby must take before they physically can eat any "meat" or substance. How many Christians are satisfied with "milk" and never move onto the real "meat", or have a taste of it? Great thread and discussions, much to think of when going back to God's word.
