Absolutely no stimulants period.
Coffee nope has caffeine.
Tea nope has caffeine.
Chocolate nope has caffeine and theobromine which is also a CNS stimulant.

Certain foods also have stimulate effects on certain people.
Any purple or blue colored foods.
The pigment is a flavonoid known as anthocyanins.
Purple grapes
Black beans
Purple cabbage
Blueberries
Purple potatoes
etc

I cannot eat any of these foods without getting insomnia.

One of the worst for me is beets.
They contain anthocyanins but also nitrates.
Nitrates are converted into NO nitric oxide by bacteria in your saliva.

Also oats contain a alkaloid called gramine aka donaxine.

So they have a stimulant effect on the nervous system.
This is why horses get energy from eating oats.
The old saying: "that horse is feeling His oats" has truth to it.

The red pigment in Salmon is called astaxanthin.
It also gives me insomnia as it helps energize the mitochondria of our cells.

Iceberg lettuce has a sedative chemical in it called lactucarium.
Large amounts of iceberg lettuce helps me calm down and get sleepy.

I used to drink chamomile tea 8 cups a day.
I would brew 2 cups at a time.
2 cups of water with 4 tea bags from Celestial Seasonings company.
I'd put four tea bags in a 16 ounce glass then pour 2 cups of boiling water over the tea bags directly into the glass.
Let steep for 15 minutes before I took my first sip.
I never removed the tea bags just left them in.

Pasta, potatoes(white or yellow), white rice, wheat,
Northern white beans, Lima beans, peas, are carbs that help sleep.

Bananas help sleep, another carbohydrate.

Beef, chicken, fish that doesnt contain astaxanthin is ok to eat.
Turkey is ok. Some claim it helps sleep because of the amino acid tryptophan.
But bananas contain alot more of this amino acid.

Fat in general seems to help sleep, except fat that is used as medicine such as black seed oil.
So animal fat and plant fat(oil) is ok.

Takes along time to get straightened out.
I look at the sun(not directly) in the morning to help set my circadian rhythm( bodies internal clock that tells you when to be awake and when to sleep).
