Wow...

May the Lord give him strength to hold fast his good confession!

And may the Lord make us as faithful as he is, and keep us when our time of testing comes! :)

Father,
...please have your divine hand upon our brother and his family. If it is your will for him to go home Father, than your will be done. If it is not, then please send your angels to take charge concerning him to lift him up, least he strike his foot against a stone. Father...you are a God of miracles...please grant our brother a miracle according to your perfect plan and will. If he is convicted Father and is hung...I pray for a quick release of his spirit into your most loving hands and let him not be afraid. Let him not fear...

I thank you for my brother Father, and for honoring him as worthy to be martyred like the prophets and apostles of old...I pray his testimony, the testimony of Jesus [even death] be as a seed of light, which brings forth divine Godly change in the hearts of those of whom it is mean't to touch, those who are called by your name in that country and others like them...

Your word says in Romans 1:
[sup]16[/sup] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. [sup]17[/sup] For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Thank you for his faith, for his trust in you Father and also for the crown of life waiting for him in the Kingdom of Heaven, if it is your will!

...please take care of his family in a divine way also, I pray

Thank you Father, in Jesus name!

In perspective with the Pilgrims Progress the Pope and Pagan have long ago ceased from keeping pilgrims from making the trek out of the Vally of Humiliation into Vanity Fair. These monsters have long been dead! But the monster in this ground for many has the name of Cleric!

I could be wrong, but since this is a public event, known to the rest of the world, Iran likely isn't going to execute him.....at least not in the forseeable future.

They will either flog him, imprison him for a long period of time, or both.

Later, when the world's eye is no longer on them, they will perhaps then execute him.

Do you suppose they're using this is a cover-up?

Iranian pastor faces death for rape, not apostasy - report

Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani will be put to death for several charges of rape and extortion, charges that differ greatly from his original sentence of apostasy, Iran's semi-official Fars News agency reported Friday.

Gholomali Rezvani, the deputy governor of Gilan province, where Nadarkhani was tried and convicted, accused Western media of twisting the real story, referring to him as a "rapist." A previous report from the news agency claimed he had committed several violent crimes, including repeated rape and extortion.

"His crime is not, as some claim, converting others to Christianity," Rezvani told Fars. "He is guilty of security-related crimes."

In a translated Iranian Supreme Court brief from 2010, however, the charge of apostasy is the only charge leveled against Nadarkhani.

The attorney seems pretty confident he won't face the death penalty.

Hi Gypsy!
That is always possible dear friend...but please consider - If Islam has been brought to the forefront by this incident, would they not be pumping out their propaganda machine to protect their precious anti-Christ religion by painting a derogatory picture about a Christian Pastor? Who do you believe?

Shalom

I believe it is highly likely the report I posted is propaganda. They have to cover themselves somehow in the court of "world opinion" and I have not seen anything else on these "additional charges".

Is this the kind of religion we want here in America?

Last week there was a contest is Somalia for boys between the ages of 10-17. It was to see who could most accurately recite the most verses from the Koran. First place received the equivalent of $700 American money....and an AK47. Second place received the equivalent of $500 American money...........and an AK47. Third place received the equivalent of $300 American money...............and two brand new shiny hand-grenades!

No. I would say this is more like it...

9/11 Hate-Crime Victim Seeks To Save His Attacker

Just 10 days after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Rais Bhuiyan was working at a gas station in Dallas when he was shot in the face by a man named Mark Stroman.

Stroman was on a shooting spree, targeting people who appeared to be Muslim or of Middle Eastern descent. Stroman is due to be executed July 20; Bhuiyan, the only survivor of the attacks, is fighting to save his life.

When Stroman entered the gas station, Bhuiyan initially thought it was a routine robbery.

"I opened the cash register, offered him the cash, and requested him not to shoot me," Bhuiyan tells weekends on All Things Considered host Laura Sullivan. "In reply he asked me, 'Where are you from?' And the question seemed strange to ask during a robbery. And I said, 'Excuse me?' And as soon as I spoke, I felt the sensation of a million bees stinging my face, and then heard an explosion."

Bhuiyan required medical attention for years after the attack. The bullet hit him on the right side of the face, leaving severe injuries, particularly to his right eye.

"I had to go through several surgeries and finally the doctor could save the eye, but the vision is gone, and I'm still carrying more than 35 pellets on the right side of my face," he says. "Once I touch my face, my skull, I can feel it's all bumpy. It took several years to go through all these painful surgeries one after another one."

... "Yes, Mark Stroman did a horrible thing, and he brought a lot of pain and disaster, sufferings in my life. But in return I never hated him."

Bhuiyan has created a website called World Without Hate to educate others about hate crimes as a means of preventing them. He's also working with Amnesty International and Stroman's defense attorney, who has filed several appeals on Stroman's death sentence.

"I strongly believe executing him is not a solution. We will just simply lose a human life without dealing with the root cause, which is hate crime," Bhuiyan says. "In Islam it says that saving one human life is the same as saving the entire mankind. Since I forgave him, all those principles encouraged me to go even further, and stop his execution and save another human life."

The problem we have here, in America, (if you want to call it that) is 1. Lumping All into one category, and 2. That little item, written by our Founding Fathers, called the Constitution.

From the "YOU JUST CAN"T MAKE THIS STUFF UP" category...

First it was because the guy is a Christian. THEN...It was because he is a rapist.

NOW...Guess....Go ahead...Guess...

It's because he's a PIMP! You just can't keep up with Mr. Mymoodsinajihad's group.

New, conflicting reports out of Iran raise further concerns about the fate of a pastor being persecuted for his Christian beliefs.

Iranian state-funded Press TV reported in an article published online Wednesday that Youcef Nadarkhani is now considered a security threat and is accused of running a brothel.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."

It's not something I would choose for myself, but if the Lord counts the man worthy of a martyr's crown, perhaps some muslim's will come to understand something of true martyrdom and see strapping on a bomb as nothing but murder.
