But you believe OSAS is true.Nonsense, as are most of the doctrines of the Reformation, including OSAS.
You say you cannot sin a sin unto death.
How is that not you never being able to be lost?????

Then why do you still sin????Jesus came to "take away our sin." From where? The SOURCE. The old man, the sin nature itself
Jesus gave His life to buy back (redeem) the WORLD unto Himself. So you are very much missing the plan of God. It NEVER says for God so loved the church that He gave His only Son.
And we need forgiveness because of our failures and lack of faith. That is NOT the standard of Christ. That is the standard of men. Of course when we are in the middle of a race we don't know how we will finish. But to stop running and demand to know if we are winning or losing is the silliest thing possible. We are to run...by faith with hope of a good end. There are NO guarantees in the race.
Imagine an athlete who has just started a race and wants forgiveness all the time. That is someone who is a loser in the race and disqualified.
Get your eyes on Jesus and off yourself and your poor condition. Look to Jesus and run to win.
Then explain why you still sin if this means what you say it means.5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
Get ready. They say that means deliverance from sinning, not no longer being legally guilty of that sin. But he still sins. Go figure. You are mistaken regarding the blood of Christ
Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.
Hebr 9:22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
Matt 26:28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Matt 6:9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Matt 6:10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Matt 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread,
Matt 6:12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Matt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
In your personal war on Reformed theology you don't realize that you are confirming what John says that a born again person can't sin the sin that would otherwise show him to not be born again.Jesus came to "take away our sin." From where? The SOURCE. The old man, the sin nature itself, leaving us clean of all unrighteousness, which in 1 John 3 is lawlessness - mortal sins unto death.
You are terribly misinformed. Reformed theology says that the person who lives like that is showing they were never saved/born again in the first place, not saved despite how they choose to live. How did you not know this? You aren't railing against Reformed doctrine. You are railing against the Free Grace movement that has polluted the church in these last days through the teachings of the likes of Andy Stanley and Andrew Farley. Trust me, these are hardly the traditional teachings of historical mainstream Protestantism. Not even close! Not even the Catholics believe what they teach. The doctrines of the Reformation lead to death.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”
Yes, exactly.I would just like to interject to point out that walking in the light includes being transparent and honest with the Lord. It is in and by the light of the Lord that we truly learn and realize in an experiential way that "in me, that is in my flesh, dwells no good thing". His light brings things to light that are hidden in darkness.....in order that they be brought to the cross to be confessed, forgiven, cleansed and healed. In the old testament we hear the Lord pleading, pleading brokenheartedly with His people, "only acknowledge your iniquity"(Jer 3).....in order that He not have to judge them. That was all He asked of them....just to acknowledge theirs sins, not hide them, or cover them up with fig leaves, not deny them, not make excuses for them, not justify them.....but realize, confront and confess them.........that is walking in the light. 1 Cor 11:31-32 "For if we would judge ourselves we should not be judged. But when we are judged we are chastened of the Lord that we should not be condemned with the world"
Amen! You are terribly misinformed. In the New Covenant, because of the superiority of the ministry and sacrifice of Jesus, the only sin that leads to death and can not be forgiven is the sin of willfully and knowingly calling the Holy Spirit a lying spirit. That's what blasphemy of the Spirit is. There is no forgiveness for choosing to reject in unbelief that which the Holy Spirit of truth has shown you to be true, in effect calling him a liar (see 1 John 5:10). All other sin that the ministry and sacrifice of the Levites could not forgive, because of the inferiority of its priesthood and sacrifice, is forgiven in the ministry and sacrifice of Jesus. This is all explained in Hebrews.1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
If only, most confused , if ONLY ye had known how true these words were .Because of unbelief and a desire to not give up our life here to find our life.
